Happy Monday! Forgot my breakfast burrito at home and it took me all day to finish my coffee. 😅 Got home from work at 6:05, 8k steps, and 800 cal left. Coffee - chocolate fairlife + cold brew Lunch - sub (deli chicken, muenster, lettuce, pickle, light mayo) + lays + Diet Coke Snack - mini alani nu + fiber one brownie Dinner - 2 quesadilla (chicken thighs + reduced fat cheese + homemade queso) + a glass of wine I’m coming in with 66 calories left for the day. Uff... 🥵 Harter Tag mit vielen Struggles. 🙈 Der Drang zu Bingen war enorm, weshalb ich einigen "Kleinigkeiten" nachgegeben habe. Aktuell ist es mir wichtiger, einem Bingen entgegenzuwirken als einfach nur perfekt in den Kalorien zu bleiben. Zum Frühstück gab es Brombeer-Chia-Overnightoats und etwas später bereits die erste Hälfte meines Snacks. Mittags eine vorbereitete Reis-Gemüse-Feta Pfanne. Nachmittags war es besonders schlimm. Deshalb sind nicht nur die zweite Hälfte des Kuchens sondern auch ein Schoko-Käfer, ein Mini-Snickers und ein Schokobon in meinen Mund gewandert. 🫣 Abends hab ich mir Hähnchenbrust mit Rührei und Brokkoli gekocht und hinterher noch zwei der vier Schoko-Mochi geschlemmt 😅 #bingeeating #binge #bingeeatingrecovery #kalorienzählen #fulldayofeating #fdoe #mealprep #inspiration #foodspiration #abnehmen

Geplant war heut ein kleines „full day of eating“ & dann hat der große vorhin ein Foto von mir machen wollen. Na das nutzen wir dann einfach als Cover 🤓 1. Gestartet wir der Tag mit einem schönen großen Protein Eiskaffee mit dem TP Sahne von @morenutrition.de - unbeauftragte Werbung aus Überzeugung weil ich’s liebe 🫶 2. Skyr mit Chunky, Früchten und Müsli 3. als kleinen Snack vorm losgehen gabs ein Knäckebrot mit balance Frischkäse und Kräutern 4. auf dem Spielplatz gabs ne Ladung Obst, vor allem Beeren 5. zu Hause hat dann ein eisgekühltes More clear auf mich gewartet, yeeeah 🎉 6. zum Abendbrot haben wir uns leckere wraps gemacht, bei edeka gibts günstige Proteinwraps, da müssen es nicht die teuren sein. 💭 @themeaganward A Day on My Plate 12 weeks + 3 days pregnant Y’all, i’m here to tell you right now ... my nutrition from weeks 4 to about 9 were less than stellar. 😅 The exhaustion and nausea were so intense I was practically bedridden. All of my normal foods made me sick to look at, smell and even think about. Water was also next to impossible to consume. Then the morning sickness set in and that was a whole other level of hard. Those were the hardest weeks I think I’ve ever experienced in my life. It blows my mind. In order to combat nausea, you have to eat. But, you can’t eat because the nausea is so intense. So, you end up in this vicious cycle of being insanely nauseous and hungry and not being able to eat anything to help yourself out! Y’all, when I say it was hard ... It was hard. However, now .. I’m happy to say that my nutrition is back to regularly scheduled programming. The nausea has subsided and the morning sickness is gone! Thank goodness! Here is what a typical day of meals looks like for me. Some considerations to keep in mind: - I am ~12 weeks pregnant which means I am craving very specific things. I am honoring my body and what it needs. - I am not tracking. Again, I’m listening to my body A LOT right now. - This is what a typical day looks like but my nutrition and meals don’t always look like this every single day. My breakfast and snacks tend to stay the same while my lunches and dinner change. I plan on doing more posts like this to show you the variety I have in my diet. 🩷 - Just because this is what works for me, does not mean it will work for you. It’s very important to look at these posts more so for inspiration and not as a template for yourself. I am currently using @proteanutrition protein powder & Vitality+ preworkout during my pregnancy. Today’s #fdoe on a high day. All meals meticulously planned out and built to my macros, all eaten 3-4 hours apart. Extra calories came from carbs and fats. High days are great to look forward to and are needed for various reasons so please don’t look to replicate this. It’s very individual to me. Fatigue was building given the fact I’ve been pushing expenditure quite hard these past few weeks and my deficit is aggressive and some signs of stress were arising. Although today has been great, it makes tomorrow hard when calories drop straight back down but will allow me to push on until the next one is given: Meal 1 - Oats, honey, whey & a Cocopops bar. Meal 2 - COR, Fage, banana, blueberries, biscoff crumb, 85% dark chocolate. Meal 3 - Sourdough bagel, Chicken fillet, grilled courgettes and salad. Meal 4 - Chilli, rice, broccoli and organic rice pudding. I'm back home from my holiday now, so here's my FDOE for today: Breakfast: A bowl of @dorsetcereals Simply Fruity Muesli with @aldiuk vanilla Greek yoghurt, banana slices, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries, and a cuppa. Lunch: A @morrisons Piri Piri chicken and @marksandspencerfood coleslaw roll (absolutely loved this combo!) with an apple, a couple of plums and a cup of tea. Snack: Afternoon cuppa. Dinner: Something super simple and comforting but also nutritious tonight as with travelling yesterday and a poor night's sleep the night before, I've only had about 5 hours sleep in the last 48 hours! A jacket potato filled with @heinz_uk beans, @mattessons_uk turkey bacon and red onion, topped with jalapeños (re-creating one of my favourite meals I had on my holiday!) with steamed veg on the side. DAY 12 BINGE FREE. WHAT I EAT ON A RELAXING SUNDAY. Hi! I start feeling the tiredness of the end of the school year and in addition to this, I didn't sleep well because I'm starting feeling anxious for Thursday eye laser surgery. So my husband and I happily agreed on taking this day to relax and recover as much as possible (apart from my fun morning workout). Here is what I have eaten. BREAKFAST: I ate a yogurt, fruit and cereal bowl, some more cereal on the side and a matcha cappuccino. LUNCH: I made a creamy chicken with mushrooms and courgettes (my husband loves it), then I had a plum and a piece of chocolate. AFTERNOON SNACK: A coffee with a little pastry (this was a chocolate and pear mignon. It was incredible!) DINNER: my husband made his amazing whole wheat vegetarian pizza. So good! Then I concluded with a piece of chocolate. Natürlich habe ich die letzten Monate nicht vernünftig Kalorien getrackt. Natürlich ist auch das der Grund, warum ich wieder massiv zugenommen habe 😔 Doch das muss jetzt endlich und vor allem endgültig besser werden. Ich spüre die Einschränkungen immer deutlicher und möchte mein Leben einfach mehr genießen können. Deshalb versuche ich wirklich ehrlich festzuhalten, was ich esse. Selbst, wenn es mehr ist, als ich sollte... Davor hab ich große Angst. Ich schäme mich, der Wahrheit ins Auge zu sehen. Aber vielleicht hilft mir das ja 🤗 Heute bin ich also mit zwei belegten Toasts und etwas Quark mit Haferflocken und Heidelbeeren in den Tag gestartet. Nachmittags gab es "gesunden" Zupfkuchen. Abends meine liebste leckere Burrata-Pasta. Not the healthiest of days today - ashamed there’s not more fruits and veg in here tbh, but it’s been a weird day! No appetite for breakfast which is quite unlike me, so had a couple of coffees while watching my eldest play cricket. Had yesterday’s skewer leftovers for lunch, and then just sort of snacked on bits that were lying about while I got on with making lamb fricassee. This is where unstructured meals can be dangerous. When you mindlessly eat, you have no real idea of what you take on. I still weighed out my portions and tracked everything so I know what I’ve eaten, but it’s not ideal. There again, it’s not my typical every day. And most of my intake was still scratch cooked so I’m not beating myself up over an imperfect Sunday. All delicious; and all the extra carbs will go into powering my gym session tomorrow. Still a seriously decent chunk of protein in there today (more than I expected actually but you get so much meat off a lamb shank!) but lots of fats too. DAY 11 BINGE FREE. WHAT I EAT IN A DAY, ON SATURDAY. Hi! This has been a very chill and relaxing day. I've just done a lesson with one of my private students, but then I just relaxed a lot. This is what I have eaten. BREAKFAST: my day has started extremely well! I went to one of my favorite bakeries and there was the special croissant of the weekend, which was this croissant roll with salted caramel chocolate and vanilla Chantilly cream. So amazing. Full day of eating😋 Frühstück: Im Flieger gab es Porridge (leider nicht fotografiert) und ein paar Cracker Mittagessen: Salat,gefüllte Weinblätter und Gemüseauflauf Snack: Waffel mit Schokoladensauce und Himbeergrütze Abendessen: Pizza, gefüllte Paprika mit Reis,Börek, Hühnchen und Reis Heute Morgen sind wir mit 3 Stunden Verspätung in Antalya angekommen. Am Flughafen gibt es zur Zeit Radarprobleme,weshalb die Koordination der Flieger schwierig ist. Afternoon Everyone and Happy Bank Holiday weekend! Hope you're all ok. Today's post is a bit earlier as I'm travelling home from my holiday today, and with an awful flight time later it was easier for me to post this in advance, so here's my FDOE for day 10, my travelling home day: Breakfast: @aldi.portugal Choco Cups cereal (review coming up soon!) with a Strawberry Skyr yoghurt (review to come!), a banana, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries, with a cuppa. Lunch: Finishing up what's left in the fridge before we leave! I made scrambled eggs with tomatoes and @heinz_uk beans mixed in, and had it with an apple, a couple of plums, a banana that I didn't want to go to waste, and a cup of tea. Snack: Afternoon cuppa. Dinner: We've got a late flight tonight, so we've made some rolls to have for a very late dinner on the plane. I've got ham, cheese and @heinz_uk Ketchup in mine, with a @cadburyuk Orange Brunch Light Bar (review pending!), an unpictured fruit pot I picked up from @sohocoffeeco in the airport, and hopefully a cuppa of some description during the flight. Friday eats! Again, as a weekday, very similar meals with dinner being the only change up. I find that higher protein in my main meals lately is keeping me so much fuller than a 30g serving. That’s partly because my carbs are still being slowly increased, so as I increase carbs and reduce protein slightly I expect to still feel as satiated. For now, it means I feel much less need to snack. It’s worth you exploring how much protein per meal makes you feel properly satiated. The old advice was not to exceed 30g per serving because people thought you’d just “pee it out,” - a recent scientific paper (Dec 2023) debunks that; all protein in a serving of over 30g gets utilised. But everyone is different, and of course this depends on your goals/lifestyle/current intake, so just see what works for you. Remember; my diet is specific to me, especially after coming out of an extreme deficit. My body can tolerate this level of protein and I’m extremely active. Essen bedeutet für mich, dass ich bewusst esse, zum Großteil (80/20 Regel) auf eine ausgewogene, nährstoffreiche und unverarbeitete Ernährung achte und meinem Korper das gebe, was er braucht & was MIR in dem Moment gut tut. DAY 10 BINGE FREE. WHAT I EAT IN A DAY. Hi! This is what I have eaten today. I felt good waking up because last night I managed to listen to my body properly and to eat comfortably, so I wasn't nauseous or anything. However, during my lower body workout I sweat like hell 😅 so maybe the Roman dinner left a little trace 🤣. But I didn't restrict. I ate normally throughout the day and this what; BREAKFAST: a yogurt, fruit and cereal bowl with a matcha cappuccino. A rusk with Philadelphia and jam. LUNCH: pumpkin with a couple of vegetables mini burgers and some homemade taralli. Then a plum. AFTERNOON SNACK: A coffee with a lidt chocolate. Wo es für mich hingegangen ist, siehst du in meiner Story 🥰 Swipe👉👉👉 Gerade auf Langstreckenflügen mit Stop-Overs ist es oft schwer, einen Rhythmus bei zu behalten. Das dann noch kombiniert mit Schlafmangel & Langeweile im Flugzeug und der Heißhunger kickt so richtig schön🙈🙊 Hier sind meine Tipps wie ich damit umgehe: 1. Rhythmus: Sobald ich ins Flugzeug steige, richte ich mich mental nach der Zeit im Ziel-Land. Das betrifft dann sowohl den Schlaf-als auch den Essensrhythmus. 2. Bestelle dir wenn möglich vorab ein vegetarisches/veganes Essen! Bei den meisten Airlines bekommst du sann als erstes dein Essen und es ist sehr oft die gesündere/kalorienärmere Wahl. Ich hatte auf beiden Flügen super leckeres Essen. Einmal Linsendahl mit Reis und für das Abendessen super leckeres Paneer Curry. 👌 3. Nicht aus Langeweile essen: Tappe nicht in die Snack Falle nur weil du 10 Std im Flugzeug sitzt🙏🏻 4. Auf Alkohol verzichten. Einmal kommt Alkohol natürlich mit vielen leeren Kalorien, aber gerade im Flugzeug ist es noch suboptimaler Alkohol zu trinken. Alkohol verringert für das Gehirn die Fähigkeit Sauerstoff zu nutzen. Im Flugzeug herrscht aufgrund der Höhe nochmal ein anderer Sauerstoffpartialdruck und dir kann durch die Kombi schneller schwindelig und schlecht werden. 5. Versuchungen am Flughafen widerstehen. Es gibt da ja wirklich viele Leckereien- aber suche dir wenn ein Teil aus und belasse es dann dabei 😌 💬Was sind deine Tipps fürs Reisen?
