Title: The traces of existence Journeying Through Accumulation, Revelation, and the Embrace of Mortality Seashells are truly fascinating objects created by nature. Since childhood, we often pick them up as if they were precious items, even without fully grasping their true value or the concept of value itself. Similarly, I find death to be an intriguing concept that also prompts us to contemplate the notion of value. As humans grow, they develop an awareness and concept of time, often pondering the finite nature of life. In turn, the concept of death can serve as both a driving force for someone to live life to the fullest and a factor that renders life meaningless. This intriguing interplay between values and the concept of mortality, shaped by sea shell and death created this work. Furthermore, I sought to layer the artwork akin to the age rings of a seashell, repeatedly peeling back layers to symbolize the concept of time in the background. Within the layers, I aimed to encapsulate the joy of life alongside the lonely sentiment of facing the end of life and the solitary journey that follows.

And some of the ladies liked my work and asked me how much it was, which I was ready to give it to them and they wanted to pay for it!” At 12 years old, Adie Wiltse decided they were going to become a plastics engineer; a path encouraged by their father. “Picking a degree and then a career that would allow you to really care for your needs financially was really really strongly emphasized growing up.” Adie completed their degree at pittsburg_state and afterwards began working in Texas. While living in Houston, though, they reconnected with their love of art by getting into the jewelry scene. “I kind of like awoke through the process of reconnecting to art. It allowed me to connect more deeply to myself and to my true expression of self and desires.” Adie studied under a man named Ernesto for a few years, and experienced a total, authentic shift in their life. Since then, they’ve continued making jewelry, have become a certified spiritual healer (coachadie_ ), have found a strong sense of community through veefriends , have lived nomadically for 3 years and have started their own YouTube show, Shine Bright Club.
