But what are these core values that shape our true selves? 😊 There is a simple way to identify your core values. Take a moment to reflect on your current life situation and ponder the question, "What matters the most?" List 5-7 things that come to mind—whether it's love, family, adventure, contribution, recognition, creativity, or others. Now, it's time to prioritize them by ranking each from 1 to 5, with 1 being the most crucial to you. 🔍 There is also an assessment you can use to gain a more profound insight into your values and how instrumental they are now in your life. The one I can recommend is the Barrett Values Assessment (https://www.valuescentre.com/pva). 🚀 The next step is to integrate these values into your daily life. It means you will be more likely to enjoy the process and stand out from the crowd by being excellent at what you do. 🚀 Identifying my natural talents and strengths was one of the best investments in myself that I ever made. My life is divided into before and after! 🌟 Here are some tips to help you identify what you are good at. • Ask the people close to you to name three things they think you are good at. Believe what they tell you 😉 • Think about the times when you felt most capable and empowered - what skills were you using? Those are the things you are good at. 💪 • Go over the changes you've faced in life and think about what helped you to overcome those. Is there a common theme or a pattern? If so, those are the things you are strong at. 🔄 • What did you do that made you stand out as a child? Many of us find it hard to accept tough or painful events. Our heads are full of so many different thoughts daily. According to research, the average person has approximately 60,000 thoughts per day. The paradox of how our brain is designed is that we can only properly focus on one thing at a time, which means that at one point in time all but one of those thoughts is a distraction. 🧠 Ask yourself, "What will I achieve today? 🌿 Awareness is all about being fully present and attentive to the current moment. It’s a state of heightened awareness where you not only acknowledge what’s happening around you but also within you. 🌼✨ 👀 🌿 Our senses are crucial for awareness because they provide us with real-time information about the external world, allowing us to perceive and understand our surroundings. These sensory inputs help us make informed decisions, navigate our environment, and respond appropriately to various situations, enhancing our overall awareness “in-the-moment” and our focus. 🌿 In the next exercise, you will use your senses one by one. Try focusing only on one perception at a time – the vision, then the sounds. Training your sensory perception is crucial for developing awareness. 🌿 Take a look around the room you’re in. Observe the pictures hanging on the wall, the furniture arrangements, and how the natural light gently touches the walls from the window. Pay attention to the finer details you might have overlooked, such as a subtle stain on the carpet or a solitary leaf on a houseplant. 🏠 🌿 Step out into your garden or onto the balcony, or simply open a window. Close your eyes and immerse yourself in the soundscape.👂 Notice the various sounds: the car passing by, birdsong, the trees rustling in the wind, and the conversations of people strolling down the street. 🌳 🌿 Now, return to your cup of coffee or tea. Take a moment to truly connect with the experience. Feel the warmth of the cup in your hands, inhale the inviting aroma, and savor the taste. Notice all the tiny details of the smells and tastes. Focus on it for a few moments ☕😌 🌿 For the next moment try to “switch on” all the senses at the same time – see the details of the room, you are in while hearing the sounds around you, smelling the aroma, and savoring the taste of the coffee. Quem já treina, sabe bem do que falo. Desafio quem ainda não o faz a experimentar e depois dizer-me se é possível não entranhar tamanha vontade de continuar. Tão bom desfrutar do “durante”, para não falar do “pós”, treino. Os benefícios do treino de força são inúmeros na tua saúde, física e mental. The 3 main barriers holding many mums back to losing weight; Feeling like they have no time. Struggling to adapt any diet around family life. Trying 101 different diets, hoping 1 will actually work.. Well that’s exactly what Sam struggled with. Becoming a parent is amazing, it totally changes your life and how you prioritise aspects of it. Sam was prioritising all of the main values - Working successfully, being a great mum and doing a million a 1 jobs a day for them (breakfast time, school runs, tea and bath times, bed times, washing, cleaning up after them… Before she knew it, her whole day had gone, so the last thing she thought about was doing something for herself.
 However what we did do to make it work for her was to simplify those tasks, to then shift more focus onto her stages of dieting and adapting her lifestyle for the longer term.   The thing here is, we did nothing ground-breaking We just really zoned in on the main areas of what a successful fat loss phase produces And cut out all the shit that wasn’t necessary   This created better time efficiency, gave her more clarity & control, and stopped her becoming overwhelmed when she had all her family commitments to continue with.


Sam lost over 8kg in 4 months, totally transformed how she looked and felt, and gain total control of her family and lifestyle.

The prefrontal cortex performs an executive function of our brain, responsible for the decision making, planning and coordinating a complex behavior. ⠀ 🌿 While the amygdala is one of the oldest parts of our brain that for ages has been protecting us from danger and threats by processing a fear response. The amygdala “likes” us to be safe and feel good. ⠀ 🌿 Imagine a thoughtful “inner CEO,” who knows the consequences of not doing what you have to do, and the “child” who always seeks to feel comfortable – “no threats, more treats”! ⠀ 🌿 When we are procrastinating, we have the inner dialogue between these two: ⠀ 🗣 “You promised to finish the assignment the next week. It is time to do something. We need to progress, and we need to perform,” – says the prefrontal cortex. ⠀ 🗣 “This task is so challenging. Let me switch off to something less complicated. It is too much pressure right now. I will do it later,” – says the amygdala.
