22.08.2023 || Bilasipara || Hair donation for cancer patients. Today was planned in a different way..but as it is said "sab kuch likha hai"..few things are pre destined.. I heard about Hair donation a while back and instantly i wanted to contribute in my own way.. then started the RnD and after a lot of to and fro finally today my wish was fulfilled. As you may know many cancer patients lose their hair during their treatments. And hair is one thing I believe, losing which effects your spirit in some way. As it changes the way a person look completely. And it effects their mindspace massively. Specially children๐ซ There are many organisations who work for the Cancer patients. There are many who make wigs and donate them to different hospitals and patients directly. This organisation I collaborated with @hairdonation_at_haircrown , collects hair from donors and they create wigs out of them for cancer patients. I am not someone who likes to show off any act of charity on a public forum.. but this is different. If these images encourage or even creates awareness that something like this is even possible, then it might be of great help. I just did what I have been planning for a year now. Work munch last night! There were Strawberries but I ate them before as you see my second picture. My work place decided to do a Charity Cycle for Sports Relief not only staff but some of the lads we support took part too! The target was to do 620KM, I managed to do 10K in 30 minutes and it was brutal after 2 days at the gym but I did my part ๐ now I will be going home and not leaving my bed until time for work tonight!
