Life this weekend; Giving back to the community Part I : Our annual event, ‘Ride of a Lifetime’ puts an emphasis on making lives a bit easier by raising funds for The Children’s Miracle Network along with The Lifetime Foundation. Myself, as well as the other coaches and instructors volunteered and offered a fun deal to the patrons to gain momentum…: With every $20 donation, a pie pan full of whipped cream in our faces would be a thing😂!! As usual, a fun day was had! We laughed we hugged and foremost, made it our mission to make a change for each and every children’s hospital out there. Doing this helps provide proper care and comfort for the kids that need it the most. Wow...what a difference proper meds and a lil hard work can do. I wad officially diagnosed with hypothyroidism and pre-diabetic and have been put on meds to help stabilize myself. All of that mixed with working at An amazing facility that gives me endless opportunities to strengthen my fitness journey, had helped me shed 80lbs and counting. I'm finally starting to see the light and im getting closer and closer to my goal. Never looking back at that girl with no self esteem or self worth. I am worth greatness and I deserve to put my health first. Working with Nicole has been a GAME CHANGER and I would highly recommend working with her! After spending years focusing on counting calories and doing cardio workouts, I realized that my routine wasn’t working for me in the same way anymore. I had an initial meeting with Nicole and was very impressed with her extensive experience in nutrition and strength training. I signed up for her program and Nicole worked closely with me to tailor the program to my life and goals. She has worked with hundreds of individuals, so she was excellent at anticipating the challenges that I would face when I changed my routine. I now appreciate the importance of eating protein and she has completely shifted the way that I think about exercise. I have integrated strength training into my weekly routine and I love it! That part of the gym is no longer “off-limits” – I feel much more confident on the floor using the weight equipment on my own.
