Teoretycznie już ją przeczytałeś i doskonale wiesz co się wydarzyło, ale potem sięgasz po nią w języku autora i nagle widzisz całkowicie odmienną historię. Tym właśnie było przeczytanie "under one roof" dla mnie. Wcześniej przeczytałam ją od razu jak wyszła po polsku. Podobało mi się, nawet bardzo, ale to nie było tak idealne jak myślałam, że będzie. W języku angielskim? Dobry boże, żadne słowa po polsku nie są w stanie odnieść jak piękne były uczucia między bohaterami. Czytanie o tym jak Mara i Liam nawzajem napędzają siebie do bycia w lepszym miejscu, jednocześnie starając się nie zakochać w sobie nawzajem, było czymś niesamowicie uroczym. Klimat tej historii mogłabym porównać do siedzenia podczas burzy śnieżnej, w środku nocy, pod kocykiem, przy kominku. Rozlewające się ciepło wśrodku ciebie jest tak przyjemne, że aż nie wiesz co powiedzieć. Nic nie jest przyjemniejsze niż to poczucie komfortu podczas czytania tego typu romansu. I chyba to jest najpiękniejsze w tej książce, krótkie historie, na temat cudownych ludzi, opisane w piękny sposób. Ali Hazelwood ma po prostu talent do pisania tego typo książek. Phew, this book is this year’s surprise! It’s my first ever monster romance and I don’t know what this says about me but I love everything about it! PS: If you know me IRL and see this, no you didn’t! . A Soul to Keep - Opal Reyne (First book in the duskwalker bride series) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 - 3rd person POV - Slow burn - Forced proximity - He falls first - touch her and d*e . I stumbled upon it on Goodreads by chance and saw a comment that if one liked the anime the Ancient Magus Bride (it’s mentionned in the book’s author’s note as well), this would be a perfect mature version. I didn’t watch the anime fully but I loved the storyline and the aesthetic so I was very intringued. Well, I got my time’s worth because it was a dark yet wonderful journey! So well written! the world building, the plot, the romance and the spice are well balanced, I was hooked from start to finish! . « All Reia ever wanted was freedom, all Orpheus wanted was a companion » Orpheus the MMC is such a misunderstood cinamon roll that made me swoon everytime and Reia is a strong, witty and fearless FMC, their chemistry was so good and they’re a perfect match for each other imo! . ⚠️ I want to stress the monster in monster romance, he’s is not a shapeshifter so be aware! Let’s talk audiobooks! 🎧 Over the last year especially I’ve been exploring audiobooks a lot more! I’m someone who loves the whole experience of getting to sit down and eyeball read a book but I’ve found audiobooks such a fun and convenient way to still get my reading in when I want to be active or have jobs to be done! I’m pretty much exclusively a romance reader these days so those are the only genre of audiobook I’ve listened to but I definitely have my favourites! Here are 6 audiobooks that I really enjoyed and recommend! What these all have in common is that although some of them cover deep topics, they were SO fun! Lots of banter in these and the narrators brought so much to the story’s! Audiobooks can be expensive so I recommend making sure you use up your 15 hours of Spotify audiobook listening time if you have Spotify premium already and also joining your local library and borrowing audiobooks directly to your phone! Warto pamiętać aby nigdy(serio) nie czytać tej książki jako pierwszą, jeśli chcecie zacząć z powieściami Mariany Zapaty. Ponieważ akcja dzieje się kilka lat po "Wielki mur z winnipeg" i "Kulti" a bohaterowie z tych książek pojawiają się tu wielokrotnie. Sposób w jaki autorka opisuje uczucia między bohaterami jest po prostu przeuroczy. Uwielbiam kiedy emocje między bohaterami są naturalne i wręcz ciepłe. Jak taki miękki kocyk, którym otulamy się podczas czytania książki. Nie jestem pewna w jaki sposób określić dlaczego dana książka jest dla mnie tym 11/10, bo jest to dla mnie zupełnie inne odczucie niż te względem technicznych czy fabularnych rzeczy. Podsumowując jeśli lubicie delikatne książki z małymi uroczymi dziećmi i masą słodkich momentów to "Zaczekaj na to", jest zdecydowanie dla was. PS: tak jak wam pisałam. Aktualnie mam mało czasu a z racji tego, że bardzo chciałam wstawić tą recenzję postanowiłam się z nią nie męczyć. Mam nadzieję, że nie jesteście źli, że ten post jest taki któtki. REVIEW: Sᴇᴠᴇɴ Sᴜᴍᴍᴇʀs 🍉👗☀️🌊 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 There is definitely something to be said about reading the right book at the right time. I’m so glad I read Seven Summers @paigetoonauthor on holiday last week as it is THE perfect escapist summer romance read and I absolutely adored it! This is a tale of two epic love stories, one between Liv and Finn who meet six summers ago and have a long history of long distance dating spending every summer in Cornwall, and fast forward to this summer, between Liv and Tom where this love feels more realistic and Liv can avoid heartbreak every year waiting for Finn’s return. But who does she choose? I have to confess this is my first Paige Toon read but it will definitely not be my last (and I need to go back and read her entire backlist!) Romance is not usually my go-to genre but when I find a goodie, which this one is, I’m so blown away by how much I love the feel-good romantic vibes, being swept away by the promise of true love, being so invested in the characters and relationships and feeling completely transported to the dreamy Cornish coast (and now I want to move there and run a small book shop and cafe!) You’ll need tissues for this one as it’s an emotional read. I don’t cry easily with emotional books but one scene in particular overwhelmed me 🥹 If you are a romance lover, don’t miss this gorgeous read which you will inhale! Der einzige Minuspunkt war das es sich wirklich ein Stück zulange gezogen hat die Geheimniskrämerei warum die beiden so zerstritten sind. Jedoch waren die Settings wieder mal super, und es gab wundervolle Szenen die mein Lover Girl Herz hat höher schlagen lassen. I redid my TBR cart today because I needed to scan my physical books into the Libib app, so I had to unwrap the ones I had on there. Then I put 27 books on a spinner wheel and did 6 spins to choose my physical book TBR, with the goal to read at least 3 of them. 💫March wrap up💫 I am nearly half way through my year goal of 52 😱 bookstagram has been amazing for my reading and I've found so many good books - thank you! My favourites were Divine Rivals, A Curse for True love and Fangirl (which was 5🌟 for me) The Graham effect was the most surprising! I wasn't expecting it to be much more than a fun, low stakes read and it was just excellent - Elle Kennedy books have been added to my tbr for sure! Mixed signals and Maggie Moves On were the most disappointing. I heard such good things about the B.K Borrison series and it was just a three star as I'm unlikely to remember it really. I LOVED the Knockmount series which I devoured last year but I just wasn't feeling Maggie Moves On - the male character pissed me off more than once so I just took a star off haha. So happy I discovered @authorlylasage because I thoroughly enjoyed both of these cowboy romances this month and preordered the next one too! Overall, a fabulous romance heavy March! I'll probs pop any reviews I haven't posted in my stories cause I just like doing them and saving them for myself 😍 In April I have some fantasy I AM SO EXCITED to get stuck into, I'll do a post tomorrow cause it always makes me feel a bit more accountable...😅 How was your reading? Damon est un personnage que je n’avais pas du tout aimé dans les tomes précédents. Le défi était donc de taille… Mais Caroline Sauvage a gagné son pari en me faisant apprécier cet homme avec toutes ses nuances, ses faiblesses et ses erreurs. Dans Toxic bikers on va lentement comprendre qui est le vrai Damon et pas la façade qu’il présente à ses frères bikers au quotidien. Un homme qui a fait une promesse à un frère d’armes et qui compte tout mettre en oeuvre pour la tenir, quitte à y laisser une part de son âme. Et si je ne pardonne toujours pas ses actes, je peux maintenant au moins comprendre le chemin qui l’y a mené. Mais un homme ne se mesure pas seulement à la somme de ses erreurs et de ses errances, il se mesure aussi par sa grandeur d’âme et la force de ses sentiments. Et Damon, au-delà de ses failles, est un homme qui a souffert et qui vit, qui se noie dans sa culpabilité. Il n’était pas dans ses plans de s’approcher si près de Toni, cette fille qu’il a promis de protéger. Mais le destin est farceur et la jeune femme va se retrouver dans ses pattes, éveillant au passage des émotions interdites. J’ai beaucoup aimé leurs interactions, leur évolution à tous les deux. On comprend pas mal de choses au fil des pages sur leur passé, leurs envies pour l’avenir aussi. Je me suis surprise à vouloir que Damon connaisse enfin lui aussi une sorte de paix. Avec les autres, et surtout avec lui-même. Un tome porté par une plume que je trouve meilleure de tome en tome, qui m’a transportée sur toute une gamme d’émotions. J’ai eu le coeur serré parfois… Dans tous les cas, une histoire qui réussit à nous faire faire une sacrée volte-face quant au personnage de Damon. I had some great expectations from this book and... I'm glad I did. During my weirdest slump, this book had me intrigued. Beautifully written romance with a hint of fantasy?!! A mysterious flat. 🚪 A handsome aspiring chef. 🔪 Chasing the moon 🌚 The Seven Year Slip 💌 Clementine and Iwan were easy to fall in love with. The drama of this seven year slip was astonishing. 🗽Experimento de Amor en Nueva York 🗽 Por fin he podido leer la historia de Lucas & Rosie y debo decir que gracias a la escritora, obvi, pero a mi querido @frantargaryen por regalármelo, porque me he emocionado muchísimo con estos personajes y he sentido tanto, que se han convertido en mi pareja fav. 🏙️ La trama inicia con “una sola cama” porque a Rosie se le ha caído el techo de su piso y se muda al de su mejor amiga -está de viaje- y allí se encontrará a Lucas, el primo de su amiga. Se convierten en compañeros de piso y la forma en la que van afianzando su relación me ha tenido súper enganchada. 🫧 En esta historia, nuestros protagonistas acuerdan una serie de citas experimentales porque Rosie (que está escribiendo un libro) necesita inspiración para acabar su historia. ¡Y QUÉ CITAS! Es que a cada cual es mejor, lloro y chillo a la vez. Se puede ver su química, ese trope de proximidad forzada y slow burn que UF, adoramos. Me encantó la forma en la que iba sucediendo todo, la forma de afrontar los problemas y los detalles como hacer una playlist juntos, tener una frase para comunicarse entre ellos (😭) o el perrito Taco 🌮🥹 🥹 Es un libro súper ligero, con escritura ágil y con escenas bastante graciosas, también tiene spicy y drama y ambientación en NYC (💖), con lo cual, todo suma. Le he dado 5⭐️ y si queréis un libro que os atrape, este es el vuestro. 🤍 ¿Lo habéis leído? Os leo ✨

I was consuming fantasy/romantacy books like no tomorrow at the end of 2023 and beginning of 2024 and then my mood took me to romance books and I’ve been lapping them up!! A recent romance book I read that has become one of my favourite books of all time is Say You Swear! I haven’t been able to get those characters out of my head since 💜 A romance series I really want to read soon is the Playing for Keeps series by Becca Mack. I'm not the fastest reader so I get through way more books this way since I can listen while driving and cleaning etc. I also recently became a Kindle girlie – it's practically glued to my hands at this point. I don't know how I lived without one for so long. Lattes and sweets are my weakness! I love sour candies, ice cream (pistachio is my fave flavor) pineapple on pizza and ketchup and salt & vinegar chips. When it comes to music, I listen to just about everything from classic rock to rap to disney sing-alongs but country music, JB and 90s & 00's throwbacks have a special place in my heart. 🎶 I love singing and dancing, goofing around and cracking jokes and I try to spread good vibes wherever I go. Dość długo zajęło mi sięgnięcie po nią ale kiedy już zaczęłam ją czytać nie mogłam się od niej oderwać. Sposób w jaki zostały opisane uczucia między bohaterami był nie tylko uroczy ale po prostu naturalny. Bohaterowie byli ludzcy, prawdziwi. W niektórych książkach postacie są papierowe. Bez duszy czy nawet charakteru. Tutaj? Garret i Hannah byli realistyczni. Mieli swoje wady, kompleksy i traumy. Bardzo podobał mi się również sposób w jaki autorka opisała wcześniej wspomniane traumy. Nie były one przerysowane ani zbagatelizowane. Elle jest mistrzynią w znajdywaniu równowagi w swoich powieściach. Kocham tak bardzo, że nie jestem w stanie ocenić tej książki niżej. Jednocześnie jednak nie była ona tak dobrą jak poprzednie części. Na początku czytania jej czułam się naprawdę niekomfortowo. Nightfall przekroczyło tą delikatną granice w mojej głowie między naprawdę mocnym dark romansem a książką, która sprawia ogromny dyskomfort. Chociaż ja bardzo preferuję książki, które owiną mnie kocykiem bezpieczeństwa i komfortu. Więc u mnie z tym jest naprawdę ciężko. Jednak wiem, że jest mnóstwo ludzi którzy pokochają tą książkę tak samo jak poprzednie części. Jestem tego po prostu pewna. Więc jeśli czytałaś/eś 3 poprzednie tomy to zdecydowanie warto sięgnąć po ten tom. 🛍️ Come book shopping with me to the works! I popped into the works today because I’d see a load of tik toks and booksta posts that they had some new stock in and also because @onmybookshelfx who is a lovely friend but terrible influence and kept encouraging me to go!!
