STRESS - . There’s a million and one ways to manage stress. Everyone is different. . In the midst of attempting to move house, with all the drama of useless estate agents and different people not doing there job in time and people just bare face lying, sitting around doing nothing to manage stress is not my tactic. . Working out (I actually did a spin class last night) to manage stress and uncertainty is my go to. This morning I’m feeling suitably revived and much less het up as a result. . Why is that? Because my muscles are fatigued. They have worked hard. So whatever stress may come today or tomorrow (including tiny human randomly not sleeping well last night) my muscles can’t tense up as easily because they are tired! . There’s many reasons why exercise helps reduce stress and manage difficult internal feelings. But do you really need all the science when really, I don’t know a single person that would say they feel worse after a walk, a gym class, a yoga session. . I want to teach my tiny human that activity and exercise can be a tool for all kinds of health and wellness. Physical and mental. I didn’t grow up seeing women in the gym wanting to be strong, build muscle, find catharsis in exercise. .
