Law No. 21 - Play a Sucker to Catch a Sucker – Seem Dumber Than Your Mark. Imagine you're playing a game of pretend with your friend. You might act a little silly to make them think they're the smartest one, right? This law, from the book The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, is kind of like that! It says that sometimes acting less intelligent than you actually are can be a winning strategy. By letting someone else feel superior, they might let down their guard and reveal their true plans. Friendship and loyalty are such a wonderful thing to have in our lives... I've read once that trust is not about knowing they won't hurt you. It's hoping they will choose not to. This was a great book and I hope that if you decide to read this book, you'll enjoy it😊 #ofmiceandmen #johnsteinbeck #bookreview #bookrecommendations #bookclub #bookcommunity #newbookreview #reading #readersofinstagram #bookstagram

Law No. 20 - Never Make a Commitment. Imagine you're planning a playdate with your friend, but you also have another fun activity in mind. This law, from the book The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, is kind of like that. It says it can be good to be flexible and not always commit to one thing right away. By keeping your options open, you can choose what's best for you at the moment. 📘💬 Book Thoughts 💬📘 📕 : 👰🏻‍♀️ Bride 👰🏻‍♀️ ✍️ Ali Hazelwood Soo what a chaotic week! My computer hard drive died and I’ve been frantically trying to manage things from my phone until a new one arrives. Hope everyone is doing well! This is a book I read on my last train trip. This is a slight deviation from the STEM romance books that Ali tends to write (however the leading lady vampire is very into tech) What starts as a marriage of convenience between the “collateral” vampire daughter of their leader and the alpha male in a neighboring werewolf pack, slowly molds into an alliance as Misery and Lowe find they have more common ground than they thought as well as a common enemy. This is a slow burn romance. #whatiread #bookstagram #romancereader #bookthoughts #bookrecommendations #booksummary #booksynopsis #romancereads #romancebooks #romancebookstagram

In the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki, the author emphasizes the importance of financial education and provides insights into building wealth and achieving financial independence. Kiyosaki encourages readers to develop a strong understanding of the tax system. He suggests that the rich use the tax code to their advantage by taking advantage of various tax deductions, credits, and incentives that are available for individuals and businesses. By being knowledgeable about tax laws, individuals can legally minimize their tax liabilities and keep more of their income. Kiyosaki promotes the use of corporations as a powerful tool for wealth creation and asset protection. He suggests forming legal entities such as corporations or limited liability companies (LLCs) to conduct business activities. By doing so, individuals can separate their personal finances from their business activities, providing a layer of protection for personal assets in case the business encounters financial difficulties or legal issues. . . .. #readindialeadindia #read #booklover #inspirationalquotes #motivationalquotes #procreate #booksummary #booksummaries #richdadpoordad #richdad #bookstagrammonday #mondaymotivation #mondayreads #SmallChangesBigResults #richdadpoordadbook #robertkiyosaki #goodreads #bookclub #beerbiceps

#BookReview: The Sympathizer by Viet Thanh Nguyen Genre: Historical Fiction Rating: 4/5 Review: The Sympathizer is an excellent piece of work that tells the story of a Vietnamese spy during the aftermath of the Vietnam War. I have to admit that before this book, my knowledge of the war was limited. But it inspired me to learn more about it. The author has taken a unique approach, as the first half of the book is the spy writing a letter to someone called the Commandant. As a reader, I was taken on a ride where I was eager to know why the narrator was confessing his crimes in a letter to someone. After it is revealed, the book picks up an intense pace that had me glued to every word. Previously, when I read a book that included no quotation marks for dialogue, I did not like it. But in this book, this writing style worked perfectly. It did not interrupt my reading or grasping ability and felt seamless. However, the one thing I did not like about the book was that there were some points in the book, which I just wanted to skip. There was too much unnecessary information that could have easily been avoided. A definite must-read for historical fiction lovers. #bookblogger #book #bookblog #booksofinstagram #booklover #booknerd #booklove #books #booksofig #bookaddict #bookrecommendations #bookshelf #booksuggestions #booksummary #bookrating #goodreads #bookstagrammer #goodreadswithaview #bookstagram #bookmarks #booksaremylife #sakshireports

According to the book, the main business of McDonald's is not just selling hamburgers and fast food but rather real estate and franchising. Kiyosaki explains that McDonald's is primarily in the business of acquiring and owning valuable real estate properties. The company strategically purchases or leases land and then builds its restaurants on those properties. McDonald's then leases these properties to individual franchisees who operate the restaurants and pay rent to the company. The book emphasizes that owning and controlling real estate is a key aspect of McDonald's success and profitability. The rental income generated from franchisees provides a significant portion of the company's revenue stream, making it a lucrative business model. . . .. #readindialeadindia #read #booklover #inspirationalquotes #motivationalquotes #procreate #booksummary #booksummaries #richdadpoordad #richdad #bookstagrammonday #mondaymotivation #mondayreads #SmallChangesBigResults #richdadpoordadbook #robertkiyosaki #goodreads #bookclub #beerbiceps

According to the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki, the main difference between poor and rich people lies in their mindset and financial habits. Asset vs. Liability mindset: Poor people often spend their money on liabilities, which are things that take money out of their pockets, such as expensive cars or luxury items. Rich people focus on acquiring assets, which generate income and increase their net worth, such as real estate, stocks, or businesses. Income sources: Poor people typically rely on a single source of income, such as a job, and often trade their time for money. According to the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki, the main difference between poor and rich people lies in their mindset and financial habits. Poor people tend to have limited financial education and rely on conventional wisdom, such as "go to school, get a good job, and save money." Rich people prioritize financial education and continuously seek to expand their knowledge about money, investments, and financial strategies. . .. . #readindialeadindia #read #booklover #inspirationalquotes #motivationalquotes #procreate #booksummary #booksummaries #richdadpoordad #richdad #bookstagrammonday #mondaymotivation #mondayreads #SmallChangesBigResults #richdadpoordadbook #robertkiyosaki #goodreads #bookclub #beerbiceps

Law No. 18 - Do Not Build Fortresses to Protect Yourself – Isolation is Dangerous. Imagine building a giant sandcastle at the beach, but then surrounding it with a moat so no one can play with you. This law, from the book The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene, is kind of like that! It says hiding away to protect yourself can actually be dangerous. By cutting yourself off from others, you miss out on important information, helpful friends, and maybe even some fun! We've explored strategies to combat Resistance, but is there something more? Book 3 of "The War of Art" delves into the concept of the "Higher Realm," a source of creative power that transcends our conscious efforts. Here, the "Muse" is reframed, not as a mythical being to passively wait for, but as a creative force accessed through discipline, right action, and aligning ourselves with this Higher Realm. This alignment fosters a state of effortless flow, "Grace," where creativity arises organically. The focus shifts from obsessing over the final product (your launch, campaign, etc.) to trusting the process of creation itself. You, the entrepreneur, become a channel for this creative energy. The more you cultivate this connection with the Higher Realm, the greater your potential for innovation and success. But a word of caution: Book 3 also warns of the "Resistance Trap." Don't get so fixated on battling Resistance that you neglect the importance of accessing the Higher Realm. This is a deeper exploration of the creative source. In the coming posts, we'll revisit key takeaways from the entire book and offer practical tips for applying them to your entrepreneurial journey. In the meantime, share your thoughts! Does the concept of the Higher Realm resonate with you? #Booksummary #TheWarOfArt #CreativeStruggle #OvercomingResistance #ArtisticAmbitions #HistoricalIrony #bookstagrammer #entrepreuner #entrepreunership #creativity #creativityeveryday #cupofcontemplation #coffeeandcontemplation

Another month down, here were my reads for April! I was only disappointed by one read this month which was The Night Circus, I really enjoyed the writing hut ultimately it wasn't for me. I was super thrilled with Red Queen, and really fell in love with the characters in Twin Crowns! Favourite book of the month for me is Red Queen, definitely recommend to anyone looking for a more modern fantasy with plenty of political intrigue! #booklover #bookstagrammer #bookstagram #booksta #booksummary #reading #readingsummary #aprilwrapup

In the ever-evolving landscape of business and leadership, adaptability is not merely a desirable trait — it's a necessity. Change is inevitable. Whether it stems from technological advancements, shifts in market demands, or global crises, leaders must be adept at guiding their teams through turbulent waters. In his thought-provoking book "Change-Friendly Leadership," Robert Dean Duncan provides invaluable insights into navigating the complexities of change with grace and effectiveness. A key message in the book is that implementing change within any organization is undeniably challenging. Duncan contends that the primary challenge lies in the fact that change disrupts people's comfort zones, generating stress that often leads to resistance. To overcome this resistance and make change sustainable, leaders must adopt a change-friendly mindset. In a nutshell, the book argues that becoming a ‘change-friendly’ leader is the key to successful change implementation. To embody change-friendly leadership, three foundational elements are crucial: 1. Cultivate the right mindset, 2. Establish a solid foundation for change, and 3. Implement a straightforward yet resilient process. We hope you will enjoy this animated summary, where we will walk you through the essential pieces of wisdom conveyed in the book (Link in Bio) Take care and see you soon 📚🧠📖💡 #Bigideasgrowingminds #becomeabetteryou #KnowledgeBouillonCubes #RodgerDeanDuncan #ChangeFriendlyLeadership #ChangeManagement #BigIdeas #GrowingMinds #Learning #Leadership #Leadershipdevelopment #Development #Selfdevelopment #communication #booksummary #meaning #Selfreflection #Inspiration #PersonalDevelopment #Leadershipqualities #LeadershipSkills #Selfimprovement #becomeabetterleader

Here are 9 lessons from Jacqui Letran’s book, “The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life”: 1. Start with Silence: Before diving into emails and social media, take some quiet time for meditation, reflection, or prayer. It helps you focus and sets a positive tone for the day. 2. Embrace Affirmations: Repeating positive statements about yourself might seem odd, but it can boost your confidence and self-belief. It’s like giving yourself a daily pep talk! 3. Visualize Success: Imagine achieving your goals as if they’ve already happened. Visualize yourself feeling happy and fulfilled. It’s a powerful motivator. 4. Move Your Body: Exercise doesn’t have to be intense. Even a little movement like jumping jacks, walking, or stretching wakes up your body and mind. 5. Read for Growth: Start your day with inspiring or educational reading. Just a few minutes can lift your mood and expand your knowledge. 6. Write it Down: Keep a journal to jot down your thoughts, ideas, or things you’re grateful for. It clears your mind and sparks creativity. 7. Take Small Steps: Don’t try to change everything at once. Start with manageable practices and build from there. 8. Practice Self-Compassion: It’s okay to slip up. If you miss a morning routine, be kind to yourself and start again the next day. 9. Customize Your Routine: You don’t have to do all six suggested practices. Find what works for you and create your own morning routine that sets you up for success. happy reading 🩵 ❤ Like and Share this post with your loved ones 😊 #books #booklessons #booksummary #reading #wisdom #discipline #morningmotivation #mornings #bookrecommendation #bestseller #quotes #quote

According to the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki, there are five key differences between assets and liabilities: Cash flow: Assets generate positive cash flow, whereas liabilities create negative cash flow. Assets put money in your pocket by generating income or appreciation, such as rental properties or stocks. Liabilities take money out of your pocket by requiring ongoing expenses, such as a mortgage or car loan. Value appreciation: Assets have the potential to appreciate in value over time, while liabilities typically depreciate. Assets like real estate or stocks may increase in value, providing opportunities for capital gains. Liabilities like vehicles or consumer goods, on the other hand, tend to lose value over time. Ownership: Assets are things that you own and control, while liabilities are obligations that you owe to others. Assets can include businesses, investments, or intellectual property that generate income and build wealth. Liabilities involve debts and financial obligations, such as loans, credit card balances, or mortgages. Income generation: Assets have the potential to generate income independently, while liabilities require ongoing financial input. Assets like rental properties or businesses can generate passive income, allowing you to earn money without actively working. Liabilities, such as personal expenses or high-interest debts, require regular payments from your income. Net worth impact: Assets contribute positively to your net worth, while liabilities decrease it. Net worth is the measure of your financial wealth and is calculated by subtracting your liabilities from your assets. Accumulating more assets and reducing liabilities can help increase your net worth and improve your financial position over time. . . .. #readindialeadindia #read #booklover #inspirationalquotes #motivationalquotes #procreate #booksummary #booksummaries #richdadpoordad #richdad #bookstagrammonday #mondaymotivation #mondayreads #SmallChangesBigResults #richdadpoordadbook #robertkiyosaki #goodreads #bookclub #beerbiceps
