Multi-Tasking… My luggage finally arrived so it’s time for my Self-Care Saturday ritual while unpacking and working on my To-Do List (hence the glasses 🤓) Flying can wreak havoc on your skin especially if you’re prone to dryness… so after a Double Cleanse, I am replenishing moisture with my favorite sheet mask. Today was another tough day..woke up a little late..dogs were taking their leisure time doing their business..went to get into my car, remote was dead...replaced the battery, still wouldn't work .finally got into my car...wouldn't start...completely dead...had to go back into the house to find my husbands keys for his truck..got my daily stuff moved over to the truck, got halfway down the street and realized I forgot the baby carrier in my car..( I pick up my youngest granddaughter from daycare)..turned around, grabbed the seat and again left the house..looked down and realized there was under a quarter tank of gas(since he's not driving from his surgery we have been using my car)...had to stop and fuel up to make sure I made it to work and back..got to work late...I could've fumed and put my mindset in a negative place which would've triggered me to spiral...instead? I laughed..I made it to work safe, we can fix whatever with my car..and at least I wasn't stranded somewhere...this #wlsjourney is teaching me so much in how to change how I view something..and how my actions can either make or break me... and of course I was able to walk off any residual at lunch...have a great day!!!💖 #teamcheregi #iamme #positivemindset #dontsweatthesmallstuff #healthymindhealthybody #myvsgjourney

***REALITY POST*** So, let’s fast forward a week and see how today’s morning routine went? Well, after 4 hours sleep, I woke up, washed up, made a packed lunch, made and drank a coffee, washed my face, brushed my teeth (not my hair!), got dressed and walked to the coffee shop before a day at college! Not perfect… but it’ll work for me. Why? ✅ Knowing I’m going home to ‘no washing’ feels like a reward 🧽 = win ✅ I had a delicious coffee that made the 30-minute walk into the city go with a spring in my step 🫘 = win ✅ I feel fresh after a “proper” wash and the aftershave I put on gives me confidence 👃🏼 = win It’s definitely not the ideal routine (no meditation, journaling or quiet time) but it’s the best I could do… today! The moral? How do you start your day? 🌅 As it’s Thursday, I’ve developed a little ritual. I attend college on Thursdays, so I get up at 6, Journal, Meditate and Read (I try not to scroll on my phone basically). I then wash, make lunch and walk into the city 🥾 I stop at Crankhouse and grab a coffee on my way… proper tasty brew! This puts me in the best place possible to make the most out of my day and get my head in the right space too! Morning routines are vital to YOUR success. Develop one that works for YOU! P.S. A tired dog is a happy dog. ❄️ 🐕 🚎 I made a promise to myself (and my pups) that I would devote more time in 2024 doing the things I love most. Road trips, camping with friends, campfires and exploring the great outdoors…like this quick trip we took to @yosemitenps a few months ago. I have traveled all over the country with my little vintage #fiberglassrv and my two pups #haliaroxy and #pepéthechihuahua 🐕 🐶 Those two were seriously the luckiest, most well-traveled dogs in the world. Pepe & Halia have been to all fifty states, including Hawaii & Alaska, more than twice, including almost every national park on the map.! 🏝️🏞️🌉🌅👀 🗺️ I miss my little Pepe every day and my most faithful companion #haliaroxy turned an unbelievable 16 years young last month. I know my time with her is limited so every day I tell myself I need to take her on more adventures to see the world, like I used to years ago before my business took over my life. Despite a very heavy & hectic work schedule, I am determined to find a way to start traveling more again with my fur family, whenever and wherever I can. Because life is too short to sweat the little things. Whoever said that first sure was right!
