Plainville Farms Boneless Turkey Breastยฎ 3 cups of honey 1 cup of butter (melted) 2 tablespoons of parsley 3 teaspoons of dried sage 2 teaspoons of rosemary 2 teaspoons of thyme Salt & pepper (to taste) INSTRUCTIONS ๐Ÿ“— Pre-heat the oven to 325ยฐF. Prepare a baking dish (spray with cooking oil.) Place your Plainville Farms turkey breasts into the prepared baking dish. In a bowl - mix together the honey, melted butter, parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, & salt and pepper. Brush the honey glaze mixture all over the turkey breasts & empty the excess marinade into the baking dish. BRUSSEL SPROUT, YAM & TURKEY RICE CASSEROLE PREP TIME: 25 MINUTES SERVINGS: 4 INGREDIENTS 2 cups of your preferred rice 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 pound of brussels sprouts (trimmed & cut in half) 2 yams (diced) Salt & pepper (to taste) 1 pack of Plainville farms tenderloins (diced) 3 tablespoons of minced garlic 2 onions (diced) 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning 2 tablespoons of flour 2 ยฝ cups of chicken broth ยผ cup of parsley โ€“ chopped (optional) INSRTUCTIONS Prepare rice according to packaging instructions. In the meantime โ€“ in a skillet, place a tablespoon of olive oil & brussels sprouts (cut-side down), and yams - cook for about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper (to taste) and continue to sautรฉ for 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate when finished. In the same skillet add a tablespoon of oil and cook your Plainville Farms tenderloins for about 8 minutes (or until the temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F.) Even though I fancy myself a poor man's Gordon Ramsay, Iโ€™m not a personal chef. Iโ€™m not about to sit here and make 3 different meals for 3 kids plus another meal for me & my wife. I like cooking, but thatโ€™s not happening. Even though I use my kids as an excuse to leave parties early (or, to be transparent, not go at all because who starts a party at 8 PM, Janet?), we canโ€™t have them be an excuse for why we canโ€™t eat well. Weโ€™re keeping tiny humans alive without adult supervision. Surely we can figure out how to feed ourselves too. Weโ€™re the ones making the dang meals! We canโ€™t pass the buck to our kids. They donโ€™t get to decide when they go to bed or whether they wear pants that day. Weโ€™re the adults. We set the expectations & we steer the ship. Even though at times it feels like our kids run our lives: weโ€™re still in charge. Yes, itโ€™s hard. The whole parenting thing is hard. Like, seriously, how is it that we have to take 6 months of driverโ€™s ed to get a license, but they send us home from the hospital after two days to keep A LITERAL HUMAN BABY alive on our own? Am I the only one who feels like they need adult supervision for this? No? Just me? Cool. When people find out we have a 3 YO & twin 2 YOโ€™s, they often say โ€œI donโ€™t know how you do it.โ€ Honestly, I donโ€™t either, but we do it. Because we can do hard things. And hereโ€™s why: It freaking matters. When weโ€™re taking care of ourselves, we feel better. And, I donโ€™t know about you, but Iโ€™m way more the parent I want to be when I feel good. If it matters, we have to figure out a way to make it work. We have to prioritize taking care of ourselves because then weโ€™re better able to take care of our kids. That doesnโ€™t make it any less hard, but we still have to do it. If youโ€™re in a place where you want to take better care of yourself, but are having a hard time figuring out how or staying consistent with it, Iโ€™d love to help you with that. I have space for 3 more parents who want to get lean & strong & feel better about themselves this year - even in the midst of the chaos. SIMPLE ASIAN DINNER ๐Ÿ˜‹......... Done and dusted in 30mins and OMG yum. This one's a treatย ๐Ÿฅฐย SAVE it!ย  High protein from the Turkey mince, absolutely packed with veggies - it's honestly so delicious! ....... And works amaaaazingly well as a meal prep too! . Recipeย ๐Ÿ˜‹ Marinade - 1/3 Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce - 2 TBS Rice Wine Vinegar - 1/2 TBS Fish Sauce - 1/2 TBS Corn Starch . . Asian Mince - 1/2 TBS Olive Oil - 2 Garlic Cloves (crushed) - 1 Brown Onion (finely diced) - 3 Spring Onions (plus garnish) - 1 Capsicum (diced) - 500g Turkey Mince - 1 Zucchini (diced) - 1/2 Cup Coriander (chopped) - Sesame Seeds & Fresh Lime to Serve - Steamed Brocollini & Green Beans - 5 Serves Cooked Rice . 1. Whisk together your marinade until smooth. Put aside. 2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick wok over med-high heat. Cook onion, garlic & capsicum until soft and fragrant. Add spring onions. 3. Add Turkey mince, break into pieces and cook, stirring often until almost cooked. 4. Give the Sauce a quick whisk and add to the mince mixture. Add zucchini and coriander and stir through until well combined. Allow to thicken for 2-3mins and then turn off heat. It will continue to get sticky and delicious. 5. Serve with Steamed rice, Steamed brocollini and green beans. . **Makes 5 Servings**

Meal prep ๐Ÿค Busy lifestyles can often leave no time for fuelling โ›ฝ๏ธ Iโ€™m here for some tips on how to maximise your nutrients in minimal time. At the beginning of the week organise your breakfast and your lunch for the week- they are the main meals you have at work and that need to give you energy and stabilise blood sugar - this will help if you flag in the afternoons ! Prep ideas I swear by: ๐Ÿ’ซ Homemade Bircher muesli In a medium bowl add 120g jumbo oats, 300g live yogurt, a dash of coconut milk, 2 grated apples, 1 tsp cinnamon, 30g chia seeds and sunflower seeds, 20g honey, 30g walnuts, and 150g blueberries. Mix and pop in the fridge. I take a portion in a jam jar. Keeps refrigerated for 5 days. ๐Ÿ’ซLayer in a jam jar: live kefir yogurt, chia seeds, berries, homemade granola, toasted walnuts, and pumpkin seeds - lovely breakfast or afternoon snack! Feeds the microbiome. ๐Ÿ’ซBatch cook some firm tofu cubes in a little seasoned cornflour ( I like 5 or 7 spice) Toss them in a little tamari, coconut aminos, sesame oil, and a drizzle of molasses. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for a hormone balancing lunch! ๐Ÿ’ซHard boil some eggs - rich in choline for healthy brain cells and supports a health detoxification of hormones. Balances energy and long- lasting satiety. ๐Ÿ’ซ Chop up your rainbow salad ready in a container to prep your salads quickly the night before: Slice radishes, grate carrot, boil and slice fresh beetroot, slice fresh fennel bulbs, shred red cabbage- antioxidants to deal with that work stress, and supports a healthy digestion. ๐Ÿ’ซ Prepare a dressing for your salad for your portion of healthy fats to protect your cell membranes and reduce inflammation: Mix white tahini, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, and lots of black pepper. Whisk it up and dollop into a little pot, or to the side of your lunch box. Have a happy, healthy week ahead ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’•
