What a difference dietary changes can make! Cholesterol eating processed, inflammatory foods in the first pic. Cholesterol after changing diet to whole foods and cutting out the fast food! -Triglycerides decreased (high levels=increased risk of stroke, heart attack, and heart disease). -vLDL decreased ( bad cholesterol) ,high levels=risk of increased heart disease. -HDL (good cholesterol) increased. Building up my push-up strength 💪🏼 After I eat breakfast, which I do everyday, that is my ✨cue✨ to take my Full Mega (which is a high quality fish oil rich in EPA DHA as well as omega-3 fatty acids), and once I take that, I go into my gym and do 30 push-ups. Why? Not only does my diet that’s a little higher in Omega-6s bring on some inflammation, but I’ve been feeling more achey in my joints due to my strength training, and chronic stress (from weight training) leads to inflammation. ✍🏼Note: I do NOT do a great job of eating 3-5 servings of wild caught cold water fatty fish (Salmon, mackerel, anchovies, sardines, herring) in my week, so this is my way of consistently getting in the bare minimum of omega-3s daily. Children’s brains crave the EPA & DHA found in fatty fish like salmon, herring, and sardines - BUT that means they actually have to EAT those fish (and frequently) for the benefits! 😅😋 We can also get Omega 3’s from ALA, or plant sources of these fatty acids, but the ALA form requires conversion to EPA & DHA, which for many of us is ineffectively done so. The best ALA sources are chia seeds, flax seeds, and walnuts. EPA & DHA are key to cognitive growth and function from as early on as in the womb. Pregnant or lactating mothers would be well advised to ensure they are getting an adequate level of these fatty acids in their diet or via supplementation. 3 days guys! 3 freakin days! My mind is blown! 🤯 3 days ago I started giving this to Malachi and I have already noticed a huge difference! To see if it would help him with his crazy up and down mood.
