We seem to have gone back to the depths of winter with the weather this week so I’m trying to conjour up spring again with this pic! I read From Now Until Forever by Rowan Coleman last month and loved it. I’ve been a big fan of Rowan’s books for a long time and I love how she brings magical realism into her stories. No spoilers here but From Now Until Forever is a beautiful love story with a unique twist. The story gave me Addie La Rue vibes too so if you liked that book or The Time Travellers Wife, I think you’ll like this too. Ben and Vita’s stories individually had me gripped but I loved how the story took off when they met and the connection between them is brilliantly written. A little Outlander, a little The Goldfinch, a little Age of Adeline (one of my very favourite films) this beautiful story is the perfect showcase of Rowan's unmistakable warmth, heart and humour (I especially liked the part about meeting some sisters in Brussels - if you know, you know) and even visits a place truly special to me (Heptonstall). I adored every single page, and may eventually forgive Rowan for the ending 😔 - it is, however, perfect! I can't recommend From Now Until Forever enough. The book is for the fans of Time Travellers Wife and Outlander. But I would say (in terms of book-based taste), it's perfect for the fans of 'The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue' by V. E. Schwab. A women who has all the time but she doesn't enjoy it meets a guy who doesn't have a lot of time, but wants to live as if every second counts. Vita works at an art gallery, and even though she live in the art world, she has lost the meaning of life. Ben, who worked too hard and never truly loved, is short of time. How these 2 meet and how their time together changes everything for both of them is a beautiful journey that Rowan takes us on. From start to finish, this book is very emotional, but also focuses on art & how it's perception changes people. I am not an art expert,but this book definitely made me think along the same lines as an artist. How much can be captured in a painting is truly an art. A timeless art.... Ben's journey & his family's support towards his condition was really heartwarming. I found it easy & quick to read and finished the book in 1 day. It was not what I was expecting at all but in a good way! I love a romance but when it’s unique with a jaw dropping twist then I’m here for it even more. Ben doesn’t have much time left, quite literally, as his doctor tells him he has only months, days or even hours left to live (don’t worry this isn’t the twist). So Ben takes a spontaneous trip to London where he meets Vita and a whirlwind romance ensues…but can they keep their love alive forever? The story alternates between both Ben & Vita’s point of view which is always great to see both sides and how they are feeling. I wanted nothing more for their relationship to work and was on the edge of my seat until the very end. This book is not just a love story but also makes you think about life, the belief of fate, what we do with the time we have left and how much would we risk to live a little longer and the consequences of all of this. 🌟BOOK TOUR 🌟 I’m delighted to kick off the @hodderbooks tour for the wonderful FROM NOW UNTIL FOREVER by the Sunday Times bestselling author Rowan Coleman. The book starts with a chance meeting between the two main characters Ben and Vita in front of a beautiful piece of art, so I thought I’d share my favourite artwork “The Writers' Museum" by Matylda Konecka. I think it beautifully captures the sense of freedom, escapism and magic that I feel when reading. I have a copy of this hanging in my office and it never fails to make me smile. Swipe to see it. FROM NOW UNTIL FOREVER is a love story with a difference. It follows Ben, who after finding out some life altering news, jumps on a train to London in a bid to ‘experience life’ while he still can. It’s there that he bumps into Vita, a woman with a tragic past whom he instantly connects with. Knowing that every day could be Ben’s last, they enter into a relationship whilst racing against time to search for a solution to prolong Ben’s life. I absolutely adored this story. It’s engaging, unusual, achingly romantic and beautifully written and I flew through it. Everything about the premise, characters and the art gallery setting captured my imagination. I was fascinated by the artistic, historical and alchemic references and enjoyed googling Vita’s beloved da Vinci paintings to help me visualise them. Ben and Vita are intriguing, complex characters who I cared deeply for. They’re both battling different forms of grief and hearing the story from their alternative POVs was both insightful and heart breaking. Their love story is tragically romantic, and underwritten with currents of raw grief, desperation, hope and fear that were both tangible and incredibly moving. I sniffled my way through large parts of it! Without giving any spoilers, I really enjoyed the direction the story took and I was desperate for Vita and Ben’s quest to succeed. FROM NOW UNTIL FOREVER is a devastatingly beautiful and unforgettable love story about fate, hope and making every second of life count. 📖 review tour [pr copy] This is my second book my this author, I read The Memory Book a good few years ago and adored it, broke my heart and beautifully written. From now until forever is the author’s upcoming new novel, which will deliver romance, unexpected twists and a story all about fate, life and love. A story of second chances, love, life and some twists along the way, a very enjoyable slice of escape and beautifully written. I loved the themes in this book and the way the story was done, I always enjoy a switching of narrative to get both sides of the picture, both characters were good to follow too. I can’t really say much without giving anything away but If you like books about chance meetings and romance reads with a little twist on things then I’d recommend this one for sure. I’ve seen it being likened to big books such as The time travellers wife and also recent big success Addie LaRue, and while I can take similarities with the romance side and genre bending side, this feels like something different but bare in mind the comparisons anyway. From now until forever is out 3rd August hardback and kindle, with paperback coming out next July. Thank you to @hodderbooks for my proof.

idk why but July is always a tough month and the universe constantly tests me. it has to be the planets, aliens maybe? this July was no different in stress but a lot different in response. every month I look back and see how I grew and this month really stands out. it has not been easy, it has been a lot of ✨internal work✨ and self acceptance but goddamn it, it feels nice to grow. to finally feel like myself again, but a much better, clearer, elevated version of myself. i am especially grateful for my husband this month. with finally moving into our own place, financial stability, 2 raises, I thought everything would finally fall into place but that’s not how it works. thank you for being the most fiercely loyal, loving, goofball that makes my heart melt when I see you come through the kitchen door (even through the mosquito net). your passion, selflessness, willingness, and dare I say GRIT make me fall in love with you more and more every day. thank you for being the calm to my crazy and for continuing to learn how to handle that when i think of new ways to be insane! Carter and I are truly the luckiest in the world. can’t wait to celebrate renewing our vows next year because I said so! I love you. #fromnowuntilforever
