⤹ La 5ème vague : La dernière étoile -T3 de Rick Yancey ☆☆☆☆/5 ❛ Encore une fois, je n’ai pas tout compris. Ce qui me rassure c’est que je suis perdue à chaque tome ! On retrouve encore une fois Cassie et Ringer en principales narratrices dans ce dernier roman qui clôture plus ou moins bien la saga. Si j’ai adoré l’univers dans le premier tome, j’ai trouvé qu’il perdait de son charme dans la suite. Ce tome passe à la fois vite et lentement, dans le sens où il y a de l’action, certes, mais c’est tellement long ! Il y a des informations qui tombent de nulle part, des décisions ridicules. Si Zombie et Evan étaient les personnages qui m’intriguaient le plus, ils sont devenus totalement transparents. Hormis ça, je m’attendais à une autre fin. Je ne suis pas contre les fins ouvertes de ce genre, mais j’en attendais plus. On ne sait pas trop ce qu’il va se passer de plus, on voit un personnage partir pour je ne sais quoi. Dans ce tome en globalité j’ai l’impression que tout le monde meurt dans des moments idiots, mais en faisant exploser une base ah bah là tout le monde survit ! C’était un peu bizarre comme fin de saga, trop dispersée, trop contradictoire. I znowu się muszę usprawiedliwiać studiami… 🫣 Takie życie niestety, ale nie nakładam sobie presji recenzowania i czytania jak najwięcej 🙂 Ale już kierując się do sedna… Piąta Fala to trylogia post apo/sci fi. Dwie pierwsze części przeczytałam już dawno, a ostatnią ruszyłam nie dawno z kupki wstydu 🫣 W książkach mamy kilkoro nastoletnich bohaterów, lecz myślę że to Cassie jest najbardziej wysuwającą się na przód postacią. I potrafi być naprawdę denerwująca czasami. Sama fabuła mi się podobała. Na Ziemię przylatuje statek matka, który ma być zagładą ludzkości. Za pomocą czterech różnych fal zabijają ludzkość, i w większości ostają się tylko dzieci i młodzież. Akcja dzieje się gdy nadchodzi Piąta Fala. Książka jest napisana sprawnie, czasem zbyt się to rozciąga na nastoletnie myśli i jojczenia, ale w sumie nie ma co wymagać po dzieciach by były twardzielami w czasie apokalipsy. ⤹ La 5ème vague : La mer infinie -T2 de Rick Yancey ☆☆☆☆/5 ❛ Alors, je ne peux pas dire que je n’ai pas aimé ce tome car ce n’est pas le cas. Je l’ai directement enchainé après le premier et totalement dévoré. Seulement, si le premier tome était trop lent parfois, là c’était un peu l’inverse ! En fait, il était lent parce qu’il se passe des choses mais en même temps le texte est très lourd, mais il se passe trop de choses expliquées trop rapidement ! Je ne dis pas que je n’ai rien compris, mais un peu quand même… En fait, on suit un tout petit peu Cassie et principalement Ringer. Le problème, c’est qu’on ne comprend rien car on est Ringer ! C’est logique, vous me direz, mais de nombreux éléments pour comprendre les événements sont dissimulés tout au long du roman, sans que je n’ai pu les saisir car je ne savais pas où l’auteur voulait en venir. Je ne sais pas si c’est compréhensible, mais j’ai vite été perdu, et quand il y a eu des révélations, je n’ai pas eu le cœur à aller fouiller dans les chapitres précédents pour comprendre. Si je pense avoir saisit le principal du texte, toute cette histoire avec l’importance d’Evan, les aliens qui en fait n’en sont pas, et ainsi de suite, eh bien ce n’était pas gagné ! Mais hormis ça, qui était déjà un problème dans le premier roman, ma lecture était beaucoup plus fluide, les évènements s’enchaînaient bien. Il y avait de l’action, de la tension, des doutes. Bon, par contre, il faut que l’auteur arrête d’essayer de mettre de la romance dans son histoire car je trouve que ça ne fusionne pas du tout ! Les triangles amoureux, tout le monde embrasse tout le monde, je suis un peu perdue… J’aime quand il y a un peu de romance dans ce type de dystopie, mais en soit parfois c’est nettement mieux quand les héroïnes finissent seules ! En plus, Cassie et Ben étaient vraiment détestables dans ce tome, Evan très transparent… Il n’y a que Ringer qui était plutôt fidèle à elle-même. ⤹ La 5ème vague -T1 de Rick Yancey ☆☆☆☆☆/5 ❛ Ça faisait maintenant quelques années que ce roman trainait dans ma bibliothèque, sans que je n’arrive à aller plus loin que les premiers chapitres. J’ai réussi à me motiver, et c’est une très bonne surprise ! On retrouve une dystopie assez intrigante avec des extraterrestres dont on ne sait rien du tout. On suit principalement Cassie, qui au fil des chapitres, nous raconte son histoire et comment elle évolue à l’aube de la 5ème vague. J’ai beaucoup aimé l’univers post-apocalyptique, qu’on apprenne des choses presque en même temps que la protagoniste. Je dis presque parce que ce roman a un fort atout qui est aussi un défaut je trouve : il a de nombreux points de vue. On passe de Cassie, à Evan, à un Silencieux, à Zombie en passant par un point de vue omniscient. Si je trouve cette approche hyper intéressante, l’énorme problème c’est qu’on ne sait pas qui on lit ! Au début des chapitres, pas de nom, rien. Donc quelques fois, surtout au début, il y a des chapitres que je n’ai pas compris parce que je ne savais pas quel personnage narrait. Hormis ça, j’ai trouvé qu’il y a quelques moments un peu difficiles à comprendre, où j’étais totalement perdue ; c’est ce qui m’a empêché d’avoir un coup de cœur je pense. Evan vient très loin dans le roman, donc parfois c’était un peu long et très contemplatif. Les scènes d’action étaient très bien écrites, le fond de l’intrigue est très bien pensé aussi. J’ai trouvé intéressant que les personnages se rejoignent à la fin, que tout se croise et se décroise. Petit bémol sur certains passages pour débloquer l’histoire qui étaient trop simples à mon goût. On avait l’impression qu’il fallait absolument une solution à cette situation, donc l’auteur a choisi la facilité. Mais hormis ces quelques petites choses qui m’ont embêtées, je pense que c’est une très bonne dystopie qu’on ne peut pas lâcher, je voulais toujours aller lire donc c’est bon signe ! Love when you get to the part of the book where the title makes sense . 🛸the infinite sea by Rick Yancey🛸 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I definitely liked this one more as we didn’t have as much POV from little miss lovesick in the apocalypse who now that she’s “found love” basically has no common sense or regard for life. I do enjoy the POV of Ringer though. I liked Razor too…. But that ending????? Was the last chapter necessary???? Seems dumb if you ask me….there were also most spelling/grammar mistakes in my copy which was a little annoying bc it was enough that it interrupted the reading flow. I love a moment in a book where you realize the meaning of the title but I can’t figure out if Yancey couldn’t decide what he wanted it to mean or if he purposely wanted it to mean many things because it was used abundantly in different situations throughout the book

Monstrologas pasiunta ir ketina mesti mokytojui atkirtį. Monstrai, kuriuos jie tiria susideda iš kraujo ir kūno, o Wendigo nei to, nei kito neturi. Jis tėra mitas, pikta dvasia, kurios tikrumo neįmanoma patvirtinti. Tačiau, Pellenoro draugas Džonas išvyksta ieškoti Wendigo į Kanados glūdumas ir negrįžta. Po trijų mėnesių, Džono žmona ir Pellenoro buvusi meilė, meldžia monstrologą vykti į Kanadą ir pargabenti jos vyrą namo. Tas tik tvirtina, kad jos vyras senai miręs, bet vykti sutinka. Tik iškeliavus Pellenoras ir jo padėjėjas Will Henry supranta, kad kelionė nebus lengva. Vietiniai monstrologo vengia ir prisibijo to paties Wendigo... Antrojoje knygoje veiksmo mažiau, bet daugiau siaubo elementų. Tamsios Will Henry filosofinės mintys suteikė kūriniui dar daugiau niūresnės atmosferos. Patiko, kad po įvykių, seka jų apmąstymai ir išvados. Užtat Pellenoro kandumas ir ironija, neblogai džiugino viso kūrinio metu. „ - Nuo nuodų, tau galti kilti paranoja, gali imti pliurpti niekus, gali pradėti galvoti, jog turi antrą galvą... Sie geht das Risiko ein und findet schon bald heraus, welche Grausamkeit die fünfte Welle für sie bereithält ... ---------- Ich hatte zuerst die Verfilmung des ersten Buches gesehen und als ich erfuhr, dass es keine Fortsetzung geben wird, aber wissen wollte, wie es weitergeht, habe ich mir die Buchreihe zugelegt. Die Handlung von "Die fünfte Welle" entspricht weitestgehend der des Filmes, natürlich gibt es ein paar Abweichungen. Besonders interessant fand ich die im Buch ausführlicher dargestellten Charaktere und wie sich vor allem die Protagonisten mit einigen moralisch komplexen Fragen auseinandersetzen und für sich einen Umgang damit finden musste. Großer Kiritkpunkt hier bereits der Schreibstil. Dieser lässt die Story phasenweise echt an Spannung verlieren, was in den folgenden Büchern nicht besser wird. Ab Teil 2 zieht sich die Handlung derart in die Länge, dass ich echt zu kämpfen hatte. Es kommen wenig überraschende Wendungen und das Ende, naja. Insgesamt hat die Reihe stark begonnen, aber für mich ebenso stark nachgelassen. Kai skaičiau pirmą kartą, mačiau istoriją ir siužetą, kai skaičiau antrą kartą, mačiau paslėptas mintis ir kaip rezonuoja vaikas ir suaugęs žmogus dienoraščiuose. Mirus dvylikamečio Will Henry tėvams, jį priglaudžia paslaptingas mokslininkas monstrologas, Pellinoras Warthropas ir padaro jį savo asistentu. Vieną balandžio naktį, netikėtai į jų namus pasistuksena kapinių plėšikas ir sako, kad turi kai ką, kas juos galėtų sudominti. Ant monstrologo stalo padeda mirusią merginą, kurios pusę veido nuvalgė monstras, - antropofagas. Pellenoras ima monstrą apžiūrinėti ir iškelia pagrindinį klausimą, kodėl monstrų rūšis, kuri veisiasi tik Afrikoje, aptinkama Naujoje Anglijoje, ir būtent ten, kur gyvena žymiausias šalies šios srities specialistas? I have questions. More than I did when I started the book actually. Okay, I know. It's been a while since I've read the first one, but 🤫 let's just pretend I remember everything that happened, even if I didn't (which is half true, but I do remember the main points), I still have mad questions after finishing this tome. Sure, I got some answers, but some questions remain. (I suppose the third book will answer them) Still, it was a great read, I liked reconnecting with Cassie, and personally really loved how deep Ringer's character is because she was starting to get on my nerves looking through Cassie's eyes, but less when I spent more time with her I also came to realize that she did asked the right questions. The answers I got were thanks to her. Pátá vlna Autor: Rick Yancey Stran: 448 Díl: 1. Série: Pátá vlna Můj názor: „Domnívala jsem se, že vím, co je to osamělost, než mě našel, ale neměla jsem ani zdání. Nevíte, co je skutečná osamělost, dokud nepoznáte opak." Viděli jsem film Pátá vlna? Já ano, a to byl i ten důvod proč jsem se do této série pustila. Film mě zaujal a když jsem zjistila, že je to podle knižní předlohy a další díly nejsou zfilmované, bylo mi hned jasné, že sérii nesmím vynechat. Hned na začátku jsem byla překvapená stylem, jakým je knížka napsaná. Bylo to vyprávění postav, hlavně hlavní hrdinky, v ich formě, přesto mi to přišlo zvláštně napsané. Nesmím ale zapomenou zmínit, že to bylo velmi čtivé. Knížka má něco okolo 450 stránek, ale než jsem se nadála, byla jsem za polovinou. Knížka je rozdělena do několika částí, kdy je každá psaná z jiného pohledu. Přesto ale nejvíce figurovala hlavní hrdinka Cassie, která měla dost prostoru. Abych něco řekla o Cassie. Ve filmu mi přišla super a tak jsem předpokládala, že i v knížce budu mít ne ni stejný názor, ne-li lepší. A ono ne. Byly chvíle, kdy jsem ji chápala a přišla mi i docela sympatická, ale většinou mi vůbec nesedla. To jak se občas chovala, bylo až moc. Určitě mi více sedl Ben a Evan, který se mi čím dál tím zamlouval více.🙈 Jedna postava mě neskutečně vytáčela. Sice měla vytáčet 😂 i kvůli tomu, že je na té „zle straně", ale když se v knížce objevila, prostě jsem to nedávala. Takže ano, skvěle napsaná postava. Za to má u mě autor plusové body.😂 „Já jsem tě zachránil. A ty jsi zachránila mě." V porovnání s filmem, byla očekávaně knížka více o popisu. Ze začátku celkem i děj knížky s filmem sedl, ale postupně tam bylo rozdílných dost věcí. Abych pravdu řekla, asi mi více sedl film. Nevím, jestli to není i díky tomu, že jsem film viděla dřív než četla knihu, nebo díky jiným věcem, ale lepší pocit mám z filmu. „Jsme tu jen na chvíli a vzápětí už nejsme a nezáleží na čase, který tu strávíme, ale co s tím časem uděláme. PIĄTA FALA 5️⃣👽 Siemanko! Nie jestem fanem science - fiction, nie jestem fanem tematyki kosmitów i obcych. Jednak seria książek "Piąta Fala" autorstwa Ricka Yanceya jest jakaś inna. ⭐ Ocena serii: 3,66/5 ⭐ Serię przeczytałem w zeszłym roku, jednak uważam ze zasługuje ona na osobnego posta bo jest ciekawa pod kilkoma względami. Fantastyczny motyw 5 fal, przedstawionych jako kataklizmy. Jestem wielkim fanem wszystkiego co w popkulturze jest związane z katastrofizmem zarówno wśród wydarzeń prawdziwych jak i tych wymyślonych. W tym aspekcie seria bardzo mocno do mnie trafia, czego wynikiem jest 5/5 gwiazdek dla pierwszej części. ❤ Trochę inaczej jest z "Bezkresnym Morzem" które oceniłem na zaledwie 2/5 gwiazdek. Książka kompletnie bez wyrazu, równie dobrze mogłoby jej nie być i nikt by nie zauważył bo kompletnie nic nie wnosi do fabuły. Przez całą książkę czytamy tylko o podziale na zielonych i czerwonych (więcej nie napisze bo zaspojleruję). 😓 Trzecia część "Ostatnia Gwiazda" którą oceniłem na 4/5 gwiazdek jest bardzo dobrym zakończeniem serii, podsumowującym całość i dającym nadzieję i przekonanie że nie wszystko stracone nawet jeśli na takowe wygląda. Rzeczą która mnie ujęła w całej serii są postacie, z główną bohaterką Cassie na czele. Ogólnie to ciekawa perspektywa że to właśnie dzieci i nastolatki jako jedyne przetrwają apokalipse. 🤔 Najlepsza fabuła: Piąta Fala Najlepsi bohaterowie: Piąta Fala Najlepszy klimat: Piąta Fala Najlepsza książka w serii: Piąta Fala (Pisząc "Piąta Fala" mam na myśli pierwszą część serii) Na serię patrzę bardzo pozytywnie mimo że średnia ocen nie jest najlepsza to bawiłem się na prawdę dobrze podczas czytania. Na podstawie pierwszej części powstał film z Chloë Grace Moretz który również bardzo polecam! ❤ Czytaliście "Piątą Falę"? 🇬🇧That series chilled me to the bones. There is something so dark at trying to figure out who is human and who is not. Our characters are consistently on their toes and so are we. Those we thought we could trust turn on us, the atrocities the Others commit are not glossed over and it brings to the books a deeply terrorizing atmosphere. I read those books while holding my breath. I feared for everyone because I had no guarantee anyone would survive unlike many other YA Dystopia. This one is dark, twisted and really keeps you guessing until the end. 🇫🇷Cette série m’a fait froid dans le dos. Il y a quelque chose de tellement sombre dans le fait d’essayer de comprendre qui est humain et qui ne l’est pas. Nos personnages sont constamment sur leurs gardes et nous aussi. Ceux en qui nous pensions pouvoir avoir confiance se retournent contre nous, les atrocités commises par les Autres ne sont pas passées sous silence et cela confère aux livres une atmosphère profondément terrorisante. J’ai lu ces livres en retenant mon souffle. J’ai craint pour tout le monde parce que je n’avais aucune garantie que quelqu’un survivrait, contrairement à beaucoup d’autres dystopies YA. Alfred Kropp, l'anti héros : un jeune Américain de quinze ans, timide, maladroit, un géant solitaire et orphelin. Il va sauver le monde…par accident! Je ressors de cette lecture avec un avis mitigé. Je suis très friande de ce type d’histoires où les protagonistes sont des descendants des personnages de la légende arthurienne. J’avais, d’aileurs, eu un gros coup de cœur pour la tétralogie de @elodieloiselauteur: le Secret des druides et j’attends de pied ferme la suite de Legendborn de @tracydeonn. Mais là, j’avoue que j’ai eu du mal à m’attacher au personnage principal et à m’intéresser vraiment aux péripéties qui jalonnent le roman. This book’s got it all, adventure, dystopia meets sci fi meets fantasy, epic complex characters, a badass fmc, plot twists and mind tricks, excellent writing, realism, and themes of survival, never giving up hope, self discovery, family, and trust. I haven’t read the two other books in this trilogy, and I don’t think I will since my sister read them and said they weren’t as good as book one. The ending of the first left it open for my imagination while also being very narratively satisfying and pleasing for the reader. I don’t have any lovey dovey books on my shelf (I’d prefer a psychological thriller over a chick lit).
