🌈Goodreads tells the book I finished today is 150th book on my "read" shelf. I opened GR today to drop some words, to review my recently read book but the figure "150" didn't allow me to write anything. Rather, I ended up thinking how I came this far. I know to a lot of people 150 won't be a big deal, they would've a long list of 150s, to some, it'll just be a number but to me, today, IT PROVED A BIG THING. 150 books, I've read. Yeah, it's a big deal for me. Not that I am boasting, no, no_ rather I've been reflecting how I pulled myself to reach today, to 150 books. 🌈I reflected on all the days I spent reading. I thought about the very first book that I read. I never thought that a day would come when I'd have read so many books. I never thought that with the passage of time, I'd become A READER. I literally never thought about having a hobby like this. For so many books, I thought it'd be my last because I had to focus on other things, and yes, I finished those particular books, went to my task but every time, every single time, I came back and picked A BOOK, AGAIN. 🌈Also, I thought about(some if not all of) the books I have read to date, my favorites, my best, my worst and many which I never categorized. I thought about the fictional characters who turned to be my friends in a longer run. I thought about the people on whom I preferred books. And I thought about the things I had to lose only because I had to make my own space_ to read. 🌈Reaching this far was never a goal. But today after thinking about all these things, I have come to know that of all the things I received till this day(including the blessings, talents and achievements) READING IS THE GREATEST BLESSING , yes, it's a blessing for me, for what I am much grateful. 🌈After thinking about all these things, I smiled, sighed and nodded. BIG FIGURES are still waiting, and I still have to chase them. 🌈I hope that this beautiful part of life, my hobby will stay with me till the last day. I often think what I'd do in heaven and from somewhere Borges whispers we all will read because paradise is a kind of library. So, I hope, I wish and I pray to be a reader, ALWAYS. ALHAMDULILAH

Book review💫 Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi Rating: 5 out of 5 / 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is without a doubt my fave in the series (yet). It’s a really great ending to the first trilogy because I felt like there were no loose ends left and also the character development especially Juliette?? Through the roof! And about time too because she really had her time being so absorbed in her own self in the 1st two books. 😂 Which brings me to why Kenji is my fave character. That boy knows what he’s talking about, knows his priorities, and knows how to be a good friend. He’s exactly what Juliette needed and I’m so glad his character is 10/10 since the beginning. (Although I did doubt him the first few chapters of course 🤭) And then there’s Aaron Warner. I don’t even know what to say except that he’s perfectly imperfect and he’s the male mc we’ll all fall in love with as the story progresses, which I didn’t get at first because he was really unlikeable in the beginning but look at me now, if there’s an Aaron Warner club I’d definitely join. Should we make that a thing? 😂 And finally, the war. You know I love me some great wars and ruins and good versus evil and all that, and I love how everything happened. Although I guess it could’ve been even more crazy but it’s still satisfying anyway so I definitely did enjoy reading this. If you haven’t read the Shatter Me series, please do yourself a favor and put this on your tbr. Don’t let it being on the YA category fool you, there were definitely some scenes that I thought wasn’t YA alone. 👀 This definitely made me want to read all of Tahereh’s books so you know what’s on my to buy list next time! 😌 How are you loving your current read so far? Do you have an ailment that makes reading uncomfortable? I’ve been living with and managing sciatica for almost 25 years now. For the most part, it’s pretty manageable. Unfortunately sitting on couches and living room type chairs are like kryptonite and my leg and lower back are quick to serious discomfort, I have to have my feet raised. And I absolutely cannot read lying down 🤷🏽♀️ I love my living room, but it’s not set up as long term reading space… until now!! My husband surprised me with the cutest ottoman from @urbanbarn that totally matches our decor. Things get complicated for him as he finds himself in the midst of a conspiracy. He meets a woman and goes fo Formentera, an island in Spain, to stay with his cousin Sarah. Then begins a bittersweet story centered around trauma, slow burn romance all with a spin of fantasy and magic. The story is very character driven which is probably my favourite thing in a book. Hyienna has a very distinctive character just as every other person in this book. The portrayal of trauma and dealing with it is also very good. I was really intrigued by the Moirae sisters right from the prologue and that stayed the same throughout. I think that was very well executed. The description of the island was very imaginative and that really takes you to Spain. Very popular and appreciated as a standup comedian but a letdown in terms of love and relationships, the kind of guy who always fits perfect as 'just friends', for girls and is quite inexperienced when it comes to expressing his feelings down. The book is a light and fun story and the element of fun is extensive throughout though there are situations and some of the conversations where elements like affection, refusal, self-doubt, the concept of dream girl, etc., can be dominantly observed. However, they do not make the story any less enjoyable! People who keep reading such stories might find this one somewhat predictable at a point. But one thing that makes the story interesting and the readers curious is switching timelines. The author keeps bringing up events from the past to avoid the monotone of the story. The book explains the meaning of holistic energy, its advantages, and also how to commit to this type of healing by performing some simple daily activities. It explains how our physical selves are connected to our spiritual selves. The author has also stared how both our visible (physical) and invisible (spiritual/Aura) selves affect each other. The readers get to know how to use one to keep the health of the other one steady. Apart from all the conceptual information, the book also contains factual information like spiritual chakras, their associated organs, types of spiritual selves, etc. All of this was new to me so indefinitely loved reading this short and crisp read. The specialty of this book lies in its writing style. Even with the simplest words, the author has conveyed lots of info without actually overloading the readers.
