Olay örgüsüne gelecek olursakta yine entrikaların sonu yoktu, Jude yine her şeyi düşünerek entrikalara karşı geliyor alınması gereken en zor kararları alıyordu ki bir noktada da ben bu kadar da olmaz ya dedim yani 🤭 Mordoc’un hırsı yine bu kitapta hız kesmeden devam ediyor bunun sonuçları doğrultusunda ise olan yine Cardan’a oldu ve doğduğunda ki laneti tetiklendi. Kitap baştan sona bir aksiyon ve entrika silsilesiydi anlayacağınız buda tabi doğal olarak merakla sayfaları çevirmenize neden oluyordu. Bunların yanı sıra Jude ve Cardan bu kitapta o kadar az bir araya geldiler ki romantik anlamda onlarını aşkını ben çok hissedemedim maalesef. Yani arada nefretten gelen bir aşk vardı ama kitapta sırlar ve entrikaların arasında kaybolup gitmişti.Yazar aslında tüm seride romantizmi ikinci plana atıp saray entrikaları üzerine yazmış bence kitabı🤭…en azından ben final kitabını bitirince böyle hissettim. Netice olarak seriyi genel anlamda ele alırsak konu, evren ve karekterler çok iyi oluşturulmasına rağmen maalesef yeterince ince detayla işlenmemişti. Bu türün tecrübeli okuyucuları için seri beklentilerini karşılamaz diye düşünüyorum…en azından benim beklentimi karşılamadı maalesef diyerek yorumumu noktalıyorum.🫶🏻🌸

A Court of Mist and Fury - Sarah J. Maas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Omg! I was so shocked by every route this book took but I absolutely loved every moment of it! Feyre is now a high fae, and is trying to navigate her new life with the power she has been left with. But Tamlin is hell bent of making sure she is kept safe and protected, even if it means keeping her prisoner. Enter Rhysand, who calls in his deal made, one week a month living with him for the rest of her life. After the initial shock and anger, Feyre soon learns that Rhysand might not be the person he pretends to be, and might in fact by just as broken as everyone else. But Rhysand has his secrets, and Feyre is scared of the life she might be entering, and the danger it puts her loved ones in. Ahhhhh!! I did not see any of that coming, I was so prepared to watch the relationship grow between Feyre and Tamlin, but I quickly decided that I hate him! The trauma Feyre has from being a prisoner, so you would like to proceed in treating her like a prisoner? I was so so angry!! So swoops in Rhys, to the rescues, and at first I was really hesitant about his reasons behind his fascination with Feyre, but I adore him! He is such a sweetheart with a bad shell. I am so so glad we got to see Feyres relationship with Rhys grow. I love the way this book was return, and very much prefer this more than the first book, and I am ready to devour the rest of the series! I do have to say that the chapter in the Night Court, with Rhys and Feyre on the throne had my mouth drooling 🥵! Mais ça reste agréable à lire ; en particulier le dernier tiers , plus dans l’action et dans la révélation de la « trahison » … . Aren est un Roi attachant , qui vit de la même manière que ces sujets et qui se bat inlassablement pour défendre son peuple ; il a beaucoup d’égards pour Lara , souhaitant lui prouver que bien que mariés par « contrat » , il ne cautionne pas la façon dont elle a été traitée toute sa vie dans ce seul but …. Il suffit de voir la place des femmes sous son règne pour voir la valeur qu’elles ont à ses yeux ! Lara est téméraire et soucieuse elle aussi de son propre peuple etc … elle me semble manquer cependant d’instinct ; au vu de sa dite intelligence , elle aurait pu discerner depuis longtemps que l’ennemi n’était pas celui qu’on lui a désigné toute sa vie … bien que consciente des méfaits de son père , elle n’a jamais remis en cause la mission qu’il lui a confiée … pas très maligne sur ce point crucial ! - Un univers soumis aux caprices du climat ; le fonctionnement du « pont » reste un mystère que j’ai hâte de résoudre dans la suite ! Sloane’s entire life is her job while all Xavier does is party. Both need a change but both are driven by pasts that make them feel stuck. After years of working together things change as family drama on both sides unfolds. I enjoyed this much more than the last book but also think it was a tad too long (460pgs). Overall enjoyable. No one writes billionaire life quite like Ana. (Dual POV and 4 explicit scenes)

I’ll be honest, when I started this bookstagram account, my main goal was to get free books. As a life long reader, the idea of getting books I wanted before they came out and for free seemed like the dream. And it is. It’s great. It’s also overwhelming. I currently have over 40 unread books on my NetGalley shelf and a handful of physical ARCs nearing their publication dates and the feeling that I’m falling behind and that I’m missing out on reading other books from my shelves has me a bit down. I don’t know my point with this post. I’m not looking for advice - I know the suggestions and also that 99% of this issue is myself - it’s just how I’ve been feeling.

📚May *physical* TBR📚 Recently I tried to explain to my boyfriend that reading books and buying books were two different hobbies - and I stand by it! Es gibt Augenblicke, in denen man gewiss an sich zweifelt. An seinem Sein, seinem Projekt, seinem Vorhaben oder an was auch immer. Die leisen Zweifel sind manchmal einfach da. Engelchen und Teufelchen. Und oft, weiß man nicht, was man dagegen tun kann, weil es so laut um einen herum ist. Selbst der schönste Filter, könnte einem die Gedanken nicht nehmen. Ich gebe zu, dass ich am Anfang meiner Autorenkarriere auch Zweifel hatte. Ich fragte mich ob es Leser*innen geben wird, die meine Bücher mögen, wenn nicht sogar lieben werden. Ich fragte mich, ob meine Geschichten „genug“ seien oder ob da noch mehr ginge. All das wurde von dem Gedanken begleitet, dass ich mich optimieren, besser werden muss, um krassere Geschichten zu schreiben. Wer mehr weiß, kann bessere Storys schreiben, erzählte mir mein Teufelchen jedes Mal. Nicht, dass Wissen nicht gut ist, nur hindert es einen manchmal daran richtig loszugehen und alle Karten, die man hat, auszuspielen. Man geht Umwege, um alles in sich aufzusaugen, statt einfach zu machen. In meinem Fall war es das Fernstudium als Kinder- und Jugendbuchautorin. Es hat mir soviel mit auf den Weg gegeben, wie auch die beiden, die ich jetzt belege. Das kreative Schreiben und das zur Drehbuchautorin. Allein das Feedback meines Fernlehrers ist jedes Mal GOLDWERT. Er ist jedes Mal begeistert und das hat mir den nötigen Push gegeben, die Zweifel Zweifel sein zu lassen. Ich KANN schreiben. Ich muss es nur zulassen. Zulassen, dass auch meine Werke Anerkennung verdient haben. Dass ICH diese verdient habe. ↓

😱 Ciao amici, oggi voglio parlarvi di questo libro di King molto particolare perché quasi introvabile. Lo stesso autore lo ritirò dal mercato a seguito di alcuni episodi di violenza nelle scuole, probabilmente “connessi” alle vicende narrate nel romanzo. Charlie Decker, un liceale del Maine, è convocato dal preside per aver aggredito il suo insegnante di chimica con una chiave inglese e viene espulso. In seguito a ciò, Charlie recupera dal suo armadietto una pistola che si era portato con sé poi torna nella sua classe e uccide la sua insegnante di algebra. Il ragazzo tiene in ostaggio i suoi compagni, uccidendo il professore di storia quando cerca di entrare nell’aula. Durante l’evacuazione dell’edificio, si diffonde la notizia della sparatoria e sopraggiungono sul posto la polizia e i media. Il ragazzo spinge/costringe i suoi compagni a raccontare segreti su loro stessi e sugli altri. A sua volta, Charlie narra episodi sulla sua infanzia e adolescenza volti a dare una sorta di spiegazione sul suo comportamento violento. Si tratta del primo romanzo thriller di King pubblicato con lo pseudonimo di Richard Bachman. I capitoli sono abbastanza brevi e l’intero volume non è molto lungo. È interessante il taglio spiccatamente psicologico, volto a farci entrare nella follia umana e nelle ragioni che spingono a questo. L’autore riesce a ricreare una sorta di seduta psicologica di gruppo dove tutti sono costretti a fare i conti con se stessi. Charlie Decker è un personaggio negativo, ma a fine lettura risulta difficile non “giustificarlo”. King qui riesce a stravolgere la prospettiva tra ciò che è giusto e ciò che è sbagliato, offrendo nuovi punti di vista. Devo ammettere che l’ho trovato un po’ sotto tono rispetto al solito, il ritmo me lo sarei aspettato ancora più carico di tensione e, invece, da un certo momento in poi appare un po’ ripetitivo. Ve lo consiglio ma con riserva perché tutta la curiosità derivante dalla difficile reperibilità del libro poi scema. E voi lo avete letto? Vi incuriosisce? Vi aspetto nei commenti.

Par où commencer… Avant tout merci à @ema.books qui m’a fait découvrir ce livre de part sa review et qui m’a donné très envie de le lire. 🤍 « Juste un battement de ton cœur » de @aurore.lcauteure - J’ai envie de dire tellement de choses et en même temps j’en perds les mots. Je voudrais trouver les plus justes pour décrire à quel point j’ai aimé ce livre. Je crois que c’est le livre qui m’a fait versé le plus de larmes en un temps record et sur une durée indéterminée. 🤧🥹 Le talent de l’auteure à retranscrire les émotions des protagonistes est époustouflant. Je ressentais physiquement au plus profond de moi ce qu’ils vivaient. Mon pauvre petit cœur a eu profondément mal, autant qu’il a profondément aimé. La plume est belle, magique et que dire de l’histoire… Je ne veux spoiler personne donc je ne rentrerai pas dans les détails du livre. Mais je vous dirai une seule et unique chose : Si vous voulez un livre qui vous fait passer par des émotions intenses, véritables et qui vous bouleverse totalement. Si vous avez envie d’être touchée au plus profond de votre âme. Alors, foncez. ❤️🔥 Je vais parler tout de même de Jackson, bon sang…Si vous recherchez un bookboyfriend de haut rang, sachez sans l’ombre d’un doute que c’en est un. Il est d’une délicatesse et d’une sensibilité rare, d’une dévotion sans nom. Un amoureux de l’amour, un homme avec des failles et qui ne s’en cache pas. Un nouveau bookboyfriend dans mon cœur définitivement. 🫶🏼 Et son entourage, des personnes bienveillantes, attentives et prévenantes, elles ont rendu cette histoire encore plus belle. Je les aime tout autant.
