Terry Maitland is Flint City Little League coach, husband and father of two girls, and very well respected by his community who would find it impossible to associate him with such gruesome act. Yet all evidence point accusing fingers at him. He was seen by multiple witnesses and his prints were on all links to the murder. BOOK REVIEW:UNANSWERED QUESTIONS...🤦♀️😞 The suspense here was really good. This made it downright easy to keep turning the pages as fast as I could. Nevertheless, I felt numb at the end of the book. This book is supposed to be a thriller but I felt nothing. The suspense I felt was not exciting or thrilling. It was just curiosity to know how everything ended. 📚📚📚 I was numb for some reasons. While reading, I felt some scenes were not well written. I found myself having to read a particular scene repeatedly just to understand what was going on. Sometimes, I finally get the gist. Other times, I just don’t get it. I think some descriptions which could have been simple were overboard such that the message to be conveyed was lost in between the words. I honestly found this tiring... 📚📚📚 Also, there were loose ends in the story. Guy Collins was barely featured in this sequel. (That reminds me of the story he was working on in the first book that we never got closure for, even in this sequel.) And when he gets to be featured here, his role is just confusing... 📚📚📚 His love story with Amaka also had a weak ending at the end of the book. It was like it was just fixed there without much thought. it wasn’t well developed... 📚📚📚 Then what happened to Ibrahim? Who called him to make him flip the coin suddenly? I'm so overwhelmed. When it's God's will for something to be done for you, barriers cease to exist and doors open without limits. When you pray, not only does God answer, he sends several notes of reassurance to erase any form of doubt. Our mother Mary's intercession is just second to none!
