➡️SWIPE - How to bulk EFFECTIVELY 🏋️‍♂️⬆️ August 2023-May 2024 175lbs-215lbs A year ago I had surgery and I was out of the gym for 6 weeks. This was hard for me to hear because I knew I was going to lose a lot of weight, but it was just motivation to come back even harder! The pictures shown above are my physique before the start of the bulk, and now currently! Here’s what I did: 💢Be in a 200-350 calorie surplus: This is to minimize as much fat gain as you can while being in a surplus for strength and muscle gains! 💢 Consumption of healthy foods: I ate on my own meal plan that includes high quality proteins, complete carbs, and healthy fats. This made me feel energized during my bulk rather than sluggish. People often make the mistake of doing a dirty bulk (with no intention to!) and end up being over 1000 calories past their caloric target and are feeling tired all the time! The food you put in your body matters- even on a bulk! Your physique WILL REFLECT what you eat. 💢 INTENSE training: Never train differently when on a bulk or a cut- they both should consist of workouts where you’re working out as intensely as you can and making each workout harder than before! Coming back from surgery I made it a goal to train the hardest I’ve ever trained, and it definitely shows! The result: An effective bulk that made me look and feel good! It’s a strategy I use for my clients as well who are looking to put on a few pounds of muscle mass while maintaining a lean physique. And as it turns out.. they are happy with their growth 😉 🛑 I am accepting clients! Don’t hesitate to start on your fitness journey- just think about how thankful you’ll feel in 1-2-3 months from now! Starting is the first and HARDEST step, but it’s the most IMPORTANT to grow and get where you want to be. Version 2.0 💪🏻👊🏻 Not quite shred standard but compared to last year I’m 12lb heavier at 180lb, fitter, stronger and I feel much happier and healthier in myself. I was proud of my shred pictures last year but there was loads I wanted to improve on and I’m well on the way to addressing those things. This is much closer to how I want my body to look. It’s always been my goal to look, feel and perform like an athlete rather than a bodybuilder. I’m still on a mass mission before I step under the lights again but happy with the progress I’ve made over the last year. Let’s get this stag do cracked off and then back to the grind 💪🏻🍻
