Simple, seasonal and tasty meat free lunchbox. —— ⏱: 55 minutes (10 minutes hands on, 50 minutes cooking) —— Serves 4 INGREDIENTS * 1kg shop bought gnocchi * 8 Romano peppers, roughly chopped * 4 red onions, cut in wedges * 1 garlic head, all cloves chopped * 1 tbsp olive oil * 2 tbsp of #HomemadeZaatar (proportions below will give you more za’atar for another time…) * 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds * 1/2 tbsp + 1 tsp sumac * 1/2 tbsp + 1 tsp dry thyme * 1/2 tbsp dry marjoram * 1 tsp dry oregano * 1/2 tsp dry basil * 400g broccoli tender stems * 1 tbsp honey * 1 tbsp olive oil * 1 pack of feta, crumbled —— METHOD Preheat the oven to 180*C fan. Lay the peppers, garlic and onions on a baking sheet, sprinkle the za’atar, drizzle 1 tbsp of olive oil and cook in the oven for 35 minutes. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Increase heat to medium and add tomatoes. Weeknight dinners 👉🏼 Easy Chicken piccata in step by step pictures 🤌 This is one of the first dishes I learned how to make well as a teen. My friends and I would make this with loads of butter. Thin pieces of chicken floured and shallow fried quickly with a sticky lemon butter sauce with capers and fresh herbs, always a crowd pleaser. Picture 1) Chicken Piccata Picture 2) Ingredients 3 chicken breast 1 cup spelt flour or regular flour ( white ) 4 tbsps olive oil or avocado oil 2 tbsps butter 2 lemons, juice only 1 cup chicken stock 1 tsp. Dijon mustard 1 tbsp. Parsley 1 small bouquet thyme 1/4 cup capers Salt and pepper to taste Picture 3) Cut chicken breast in half to thin. Pound until thin. Season with salt and pepper Picture 4) Coat chicken with flour Pictures (5 + 6) Add olive oil to pan and heat to medium high. Add chicken single file and cook in batches for 2 minutes per side. Set chicken aside. Picture 6) Add shallots to pan and saute for two minutes. Add garlic, Dijon and thyme and cook for a minute. Picture 7) Add chicken stock, lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste and cook for a minute. Picture 8) Add chicken back into pan,add butter, capers and parsley. Cook just until sauce thickens and chicken cooked through. 1-2 minutes more. Discard thyme and plate chicken. Spoon just on top. Chicken Cordon Bleu II Ingredients: 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves 6 slices Swiss cheese 6 slices ham 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon paprika 6 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup dry white wine 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1 cup heavy whipping cream Directions: Pound chicken breasts to 1/4 inch thickness. Sprinkle each piece on both sides with salt and pepper. Place a cheese and ham slice on each breast within 1/2 inch of the edges. Fold the edges of the chicken over the filling and secure with toothpicks. Mix the flour and paprika in a small bowl, and coat the chicken pieces. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and cook the chicken until browned on all sides. Add the wine and bouillon. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove the toothpicks, and transfer the breasts to a warm plate. Blend the cornstarch with the cream in a small bowl, and whisk slowly into the skillet. Loved shooting this collab project with @kordalisk and @chinahen.⁠ ⁠ We wanted to create an idea of a fairytale banquet... tables laden with food so good, that it almost doesn't look real. We also thought that creating symmetry and even a gyroscope feeling with the image would add to that fairytale feeling and blur the lines between reality and fairytale. ⁠ ⁠ I love these images as the longer you look at them, the more you see.

Classic Quiche Lorraine French Countryside Bacon and Cheese Quiche Ingredients: 1 pie crust 8 slices bacon 1 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup milk 3 large eggs 1 cup grated Swiss cheese 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1 small onion, finely chopped Directions: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). I love to eat traditional dishes when I visit any holiday destination. Shepard’s pie is in the top 6 favourite dishes enjoyed in North Wales. The word ‘ Shepherd’s’ in the name of this food comes from the fact that it is traditionally served during a Welsh festival called “Ysbryd Y Groin”. I cooked mine as close to the original recipe as I could, replacing the butter in my mashed potatoes with extra virgin olive oil and a dusting of half fat cheese near the end of cooking. I paired it up with seascape gluten free golden ale inspired by the rugged Welsh coastline. It really complimented this Welsh favourite dish.
