Red Wine Braised Short Ribs🍷🥩🔥 by @calwillcookit FULL RECIPE ⬇️ INGREDIENTS - ~3 lbs boneless chuck short ribs (bone-in works as well) - Extra virgin olive oil - Seasonings: Salt, pepper and garlic powder - Beef tallow (can use any high smoke point oil or fat) - 1.5-2 cups celery chopped - 1.5-2 cups carrots chopped - 1 white onion (medium diced) - 4-6 tbsp fresh minced garlic - 2 tbsp tomato paste - 1 750 ml bottle of red wine (cabernet) - 3-4 cups beef broth - 4-5 springs of fresh thyme - 3 springs of fresh rosemary - 1 dried bay leaf - Chopped parsley (for garnish) Garlic-Parm Potato Purée (Full recipe is in the comments) Note(s): Measurements are estimated, adjust ingredients to your liking. DIRECTIONS 1. Pat the short ribs dry, coat in olive oil and season generously on all sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder. 2. Get a large greased skillet going over medium high heat and sear the short ribs on all sides until you get a nice crust. Once done, set aside. 3. Get a dutch oven or any large oven-safe pan/pot going over medium heat. Add in some olive followed by your celery, carrots, onions and garlic. Season with salt and pepper then mix. Let sauté for a few minutes then clear a spot in the middle and add in the tomato paste. Mix that in tell everything is well combined then place your short ribs on top. Pour in the wine and beef broth untill the liquid covering the top of the short ribs. Add in the thyme, rosemary and bay leaf. Place the lid on and pop it in the oven at 325 for 2.5-3 hours or until the short ribs are fall apart tender. 4. Once the short ribs are done, turn off the oven & leave them in there while you make the garlic-parm potato puree. 5. Plate it up & ENJOY! 🙌🏻 Optional: Remove the short ribs, strain out the veggies & reduce the broth to make a sauce.

cheeseburger wrap hack 🍔🌱 by @foodie_lilly Ingredients (serves 1) 1 wrap 1 meat free burger, I used @movingmountainsfoods *pr 2 slices of cheese, I used @violife_foods Lettuce Burger Sauce 2 tbsp vegan mayo, I used @hellmannsuk 1 tbsp ketchup 1/2 english mustard pinch of garlic granules and paprika Salt 1 gherkin 1 tbsp finely chopped white onion 2 tbsp white wine vinegar (sub for gherkin juice from the jar) Method: 1. Cook your burger as per packet instructions. 2. Mix together the sauce ingredients. 3. Assemble the wrap, 2 slices of cheese, burger sauce, lettuce, burger and fold in from the sides then fold over. 4. Heat a pan and cook the wrap for a few mins each side until crispy and the cheese has melted - enjoy!

WHITE LASAGNA WITH GREENS, GRUYERE, & GARLIC by @sara.haven 2 cups whole milk • 2 tbsp. olive oil • ¾ cup onion, chopped • 3 tbsp garlic, minced • 1 cup mushrooms, thinly sliced • 1 tsp dried basil • 1 tsp dried oregano • ½ tsp red pepper flakes • 1 tsp sea salt, divided • 1 (6oz) bag spinach • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken • 2 cups chicken or veggie broth • ¼ cup flour • ¼ tsp nutmeg • ½ cup shredded parmesan • 6 oz no boil, oven ready lasagna noodles, broken into 2-3” pieces 1 1/4 cup gruyere or mozzarella, shredded   1. preheat oven to 375F. 2. heat a large nonstick skillet over-medium high heat; add oil, onions, garlic, mushrooms, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and ¼ tsp salt. sauté about 3-4 minutes, or until mushrooms softened and their liquid has mostly evaporated.   3. add fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 10-15 seconds. remove the pan from heat and stir in chicken. 4. in a small bowl, whisk ½ cup chicken broth with flour, until a thick consistency is formed; set aside. combine remaining 1 ½  cups broth, milk, nutmeg, and 1 tsp salt in a medium saucepan and simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. once bubbly, add the slurry and whisk continuously.. simmer until thickened (about 6 minutes) and stir in parmesan. remove from heat. 5. pour 1/2 cup sauce into the bottom of a large cast iron skillet. top with ⅓ of the noodles, 1 cup chicken mixture, 1 cup sauce, and ¼ cup mozzarella. repeat layers three times, finishing with sauce and cheese. 6. cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly.

Gnocchi with Spicy Tomato Sauce by @turkuazkitchen Ingredients 4 medium potatoes 2 small egg yolks Salt, black pepper 1 tsp dry basil 1 1/4 cup flour For the Sauce 4tbsp olive oil 1 medium onion 1 serrano or Jalapeno 1 cloves garlic 1 Ibs cherry tomatoes 1/2 cup tomato sauce Salt and pepper For the Top Parmesan Cheese Fresh Herbs Burrata cheese Instructions, In a large pot, boil potatoes until tender or bake them in the oven preheated to 500F. If baking, cover the potatoes with aluminum foil, place the potatoes on the middle rack of the oven, and bake until fork-tender for 50-60min. Let them cool until enough to handle. Remove the skins and press the potatoes through a potato ricer onto a work surface. Let it cool for 10-12 min. Add the egg yolks, salt, dry basil, and pepper to the potatoes. Add the flour and then using a bench scraper (or your hand) fold and press it as in the IG reel until the dough comes together; avoid kneading. If the dough is sticky, you can add a little more flour. On a lightly floured surface, divide the dough into 4-6 equal pieces and roll the pieces into a 1/2 inch-thick rope and cut it into 3/4 inch long pieces. Then using a fork or a gnocchi board (mucca rigagnocchi) slide each piece as in the IG Reel. Sprinkle them with a little bit of flour to avoid sticking. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the chopped Onion, garlic, and pepper cook by stirring until the vegetables softened. Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce and cook by stirring occasionally until the tomatoes start to soften and burst for around 10-12 min. Add some fresh basil leaves, and season with salt and pepper, stir. Set aside. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until the pieces float to the surface, then simmer more 1-2 min. Transfer the cooked gnocchi to the saucepan. Add 1/2 cup of the gnocchi cooking water, and stir. Transfer to a bowl or plate. Top with parmesan, burrata cheese, and fresh herbs. Serve immediately. Bon Appétit!

We were lucky enough to be gifted some delicious venison sirloin from a friend and the kids devoured it on Monday so I had to make it again tonight. Layering pieces of tender venison loin between onions on a skewer and marinating in a mixture of equal parts worcestershire sauce and soy sauce and then grilling 7-8 minutes per side (400°) is perfection. I love making Italian salsa verde this time of year when fresh herbs are abundant. It goes perfectly with venison (steak and bison too) and grilled potatoes. So herby and vibrant…it’s addicting. Creamy Sun Dried Tomato and Spinach Orzo by @dianemorrisey . . 2 cups uncooked orzo 3 garlic cloves, chopped fine 1 cup jarred sun-dried tomatoes, chopped 2 tbsp sun-dried tomato oil 1 Boursin Cheese 4 cups vegetable broth 2 cups spinach 1.5 cups white cheddar, shredded ( I used smoked cheddar) 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp dried basil 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper Set your oven to 425F. Get a large baking dish and add your boursin to the middle. Add your orzo, sun-dried tomatoes, broth and seasonings to the dish. Cover and bake for about 12 minutes. Remove foil, stir, and add the shredded cheese and spinach and mix quickly. Cover and cook for another 6-8 minutes, or until orzo is cooked through and most of the stock has been absorbed (the orzo will thicken up and lose its sauciness as it sits) Remove from the oven

Video 🎥 by @thesecarbsdontcount When life gives you lemons…make this creamy lemon pasta 🍋 I used fusilli lunghi pasta! RECIPE ⬇️ 1. Cook 1/2 lb of pasta in salted water until al dente.  2. Add 3 tbsp of butter, a dash of olive oil & 3 cloves minced garlic to a pan on medium heat. 3. When the garlic is fragrant, add 1.5 cups of heavy cream and bring to a simmer. 4. Season with 1 tsp of salt, pepper, onion/ garlic powder, parsley & chili flakes. Add the juice of one lemon. 5. Add 2 oz softened cream cheese and mix until melted. Add 1/2 cup Parm, your cooked pasta and a dash of pasta water 6. Mix until creamy. Top with more parm & lemon juice. Enjoy!!

TARRAGON CHICKEN BAKE | by @dontgobaconmyheart_ Serves 4-5 INGREDIENTS 600g/1.3lb boneless skinless Chicken Thighs, diced into bite-sized pieces 200g/7oz Asparagus, woody ends removed then sliced into 4cm/1.5” chunks 100g/3.5oz diced Pancetta 3 Shallots, finely diced 2 cloves Garlic, finely diced 2.5 tbsp/37.5g Unsalted Butter 3 tbsp Plain Flour 480ml/2 cups Chicken Stock (use low-salt if sensitive to salt) 120g/1/2 cup full fat Creme Fraiche, at room temp 1 tbsp finely diced Fresh Tarragon 850g / 1.9lb Baking Potatoes, diced into small cubes 2-3 tbsp Parmesan Olive Oil Salt & Pepper METHOD 1️⃣Season chicken with 1/2 tsp salt & pepper. Fry in a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat until golden on both sides & almost cooked through (approx 3-4mins each side). Remove & leave excess fat behind. 2️⃣Fry asparagus for 3-4mins until it just begins to soften & take on colour (it will continue cooking later). Remove & place in a separate bowl to one side, then lower heat to medium. 3️⃣Fry pancetta until begins to crisp & leak out fat, then fry shallots until soft/golden. Add garlic & fry 1 min then melt in butter. Stir in flour then gradually whisk in stock. Stir in creme fraiche & tarragon then stir in chicken + any resting juices. Bring to a simmer & stir somewhat frequently for 7-8 minutes until the sauce thickens. Preheat oven to 200C/400F. 4️⃣Stir in asparagus then pour into a baking dish (mine is 10x6.5”). Leave to cool as you cook the potatoes until a firm skin forms over the top. 5️⃣Add potato to large greaseproof baking tray & toss in a light drizzle of oil (~1 tbsp) and 1/2 tsp salt & 1/4 tsp pepper (or to taste). Bake for 18-20mins until fork tender, but not overly crispy. Scatter over the filling, sprinkle with parmesan then bake for 18-20mins, or until crispy on top with the sauce bubbling around the outside. I recommend checking halfway to gently push down any potatoes that are charring too quickly. 6️⃣Garnish with a pinch more tarragon then serve & enjoy!

I’m a visual person and I love pretty food so here’s a corn and zucchini, goat cheese quiche with lemon and basil. It screams summer to me and I’m manifesting all the warm weather right now. Combined leftovers in the fridge …Refrigerator Velcro ala @altonbrown turned into a delicious pan of YUM! . What’s your favorite brunch? Sunday’s are often means Frittata &/or eggs for brunch in my home! Decided on a plant based meal to start the day… 👉Follow my ‘step by step’ carousel & make one for dinner too! Super easy & delicious… Use whatever ingredients you want! . Here’s what I did… . • In a small skillet… Sautéed 1/2 an onion, 3 cloves garlic, chopped zucchini & diced sweet peppers for ~5 minutes. • Add 1/2 cup beans… (I used cannelloni) & 1/2 cup sweet corn. Mix in with ~3/4 cups cooked rice. • Beat 4 eggs with 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 tsp chili powder, 1/2 tsp oregano, salt & pepper… maybe a dash of cayenne. Pour over pan gently stir to ensure all filling is coated. Sprinkle with ~1/3 cup cheese of choice. • Bake @ 350 F for ~25 minutes, until eggs are set & lightly golden.
