And I’m backkk. Haven’t posted for almost a whole month because the month of December was honestly crazy as helll. All the college finals I had to study for and the assignments that I had to complete was extremely hectic. However, all that is now in the past and the semester is finally over 😁 so congratulations to everybody who made it past that online semester, because that was probably the hardest and stressful semester I’ve ever had. 😪 . Also, one of the other reasons I haven’t been posting is because for the past couple of weeks my mindset was just not there. I was losing a lot of motivation for working out and pushing myself at the gym. One of the main reason why I was lacking motivation was because I injured my right knee and right shoulder. This basically hindered my leg days and my push days. As most of y’all know I run a push, pull, legs split, and that basically took away two of my days where I could really train hard. Of course I still went to the gym, but going light and not pushing my limits took a toll on me. However, when the holidays came, I took some time to rest from the gym and talk to my friends and family. This gave me a chance to take a couple of rest days and it really changed how I was feeling and thinking. Progression for my deadliftssss. I started deadlifting around April of last year and this is just a small progression post for when I deadlifted 305 pounds on July 5th, to me deadlifting 305 pounds today. 💪It’s honestly crazy looking at the progress on my deadlifts in less than a year, because looking at the 2nd video we can clearly see how crap my form was, and how I’m really struggling to lift that weight. 😂 However, when we take a look at the first video, we can see how my form has improved so much and the deadlift overall just looks way cleaner. Also, this isn’t even my max deadlift. My max is 365 but currently my body loves getting injured and I have inflamed my left hamstring 🤦🏿‍♂️, so I’ve been taking a rest from deadlifting heavy. I thought I would just do 305 for reps today and post this small progression as well to show my progress. 275 pound squat PR 🔥 honestly this is probably the best feeling I’ve ever had hitting a PR. It’s been so long since I have actually improved my numbers on squats that working up to this PR just felt amazing. After recovering from my knee injury it feels great to finally squat injury free. At times I do feel a little ache in my knee, but it’s just a minor form issue I have to fix. I am glad though that I can now progress with my lifts without being hindered by an injury, except for my hamstring, which has been aching a lot recently, but you know we move 😂💪 however, looking at this squat we can clearly see how this is not ass to grass, and I just hit parallel. Even though I didn’t hit crazy depth I’m still counting this as my squat PR, just because the way it moved I know next time I try 275 it’ll be way easier👌🏽 but as always hope y’all are still pushing and grinding, and let’s keep getting these gainzzzzz 🔥 . . . Workouts are starting to feel better than ever 💪 Since my injuries are kind of healing up I’ve had such a better time working out and being motivated to go to the gym. Honestly, not being able to workout to my full potential really made me lazy to go to the gym. Every day it would just be a little draining because I knew I couldn’t push myself, because I didn’t want to cause a permanent injury. However, I still went and pushed through and my strength and muscle has been increasing so I’m excited as hell 💪🔥 on the next post it’s just me deadlifting 315 on a power bar, nothing to crazy 😂 I will say though that these plates look better on the bar than bumpers, in my opinion at least lol hope y’all are still getting better and stronger, and as always let’s keep getting these gainzzzz 😁 . The smile after completing a hard push day while my upper body is in complete pain 😂 Trying to get bigger by the day, and at least now my chest is popping out a little bit 👀 honestly my weight has been fluctuating around 170 for the past year. Sometimes I’ll be down to 168 and sometimes I’ll go up to 175. I usually cut down when I see that I am gaining unnecessary amount of weight because then it starts to hinder my progress for calisthenics, but I don’t want to drop to much weight to where I am not gaining any muscle or my progress becomes to slow. That’s why I have been slowly maingaining, as I am still building muscle but at a rate where I am not in a complete bulk, and I can say it’s been working greaaaat. 225 pound for 8 Rep PR 💪 Squats have started to feel amazing, after changing up my split after so long 🔥 if you have seen my previous posts of me squatting 225 you’ll see that I was stuck at this weight since last year, and wasn’t I able to increase my strength at all. Mainly it was because I didn’t know how to train for strength efficiently, and I would always try to rep the heaviest weight I could at the time. Here is somewhat of a PR of me doing 385 pounds on deadlifts 💪 honestly performing this lift was out of the blue, me, biishaal, and bryanja18 started with deadlifts first on our leg day, and decided to go for our PR’s. Turns out we all hit them 🔥🔥 one of the things that kind of brought me down in this lift was my grip 🤦🏿‍♂️ I’ve said this in so many of my deadlift posts that I need to start using chalk, but I still haven’t bought it. It is my fault because this PR could have been way cleaner, however I was still able to lockout all the way at the top even if it was for just a second. Hopefully in the near future I’ll be able to smash this same weight and pull it even better. Each day we are getting stronger and stronger and that’s all that matter 😁 Also don’t come at me for the way I take in a deep breath in the beginning of my lifts, I don’t know why I do it but it’s a habit 😂😂 but hopefully y’all are still pushing through and trying to be the best version you can of yourself, so as alwayssss let’s get these gainzzzzz 🔥💪 . . . Pushing harder everyday 🔥 always had some huge insecurities with my arms, and I still do till this day. I started yoga because I love stretching and mobility work and thought that it would be a great addition to my fitness. I did not in any way think that it would have helped me with my mental health, but after practicing regularly, I saw the improvement that it gave me with how I dealt with my emotions. It opened different doors for me to explore in how to further improve my overall health such as meditation and breathwork. So for those of you who’s unsure of yoga, I encourage you to try it once. It’s not about perfection, it’s okay if you’re not strong or flexible. That is why it’s called a ‘practice’, we are in a continuous practice to better ourselves. Yoga is about showing up for yourself 💞

295 Squat PR, letsssss gooooooo 🔥🔥 haven’t been able to hit a PR on squats for a while now, but it was the last day with bryanja18 so I had to make it count 💪 honestly, once I lifted this weight off the bar I knew I was going to be able to hit this rep easily. I transitioned to squatting low bar now and it feels amazing 🔥 the weight feels much better on my back and it feels much more natural then high bar. I know the depth does look a little shaky, but from my point of view I definitely hit parallel, and I did feel my hip crease, but next time for sure I’m going to make sure it looks good on camera too 😂 man I’m honestly so excited, the lean bulk has been going good too so hopefully I’ll be progressing more and more as time passes, and I’ll probably start cutting at the end of the year. Not to sure of when I want to cut but definitely not anytime soon. 265 x 4 Rep PR I hit a couple days ago, and finally got the chance to post it 💪 if you haven’t noticed, I have been posting a lot of my squat videos because 1. My squats have been feeling amazing lately, and 2. because that’s mainly the only thing I can record since my deadlifts and bench have not been up to the level I want them to be. But I’ll definitely be posting progress on those lifts soon. Strength has been going up on the lean bulk and muscle has been going up to. Which is mainly why my strength on squats has been going up lately. It’s actually really crazy to me how a year ago I was stuck at 225 and couldn’t even increase the weight, and now I’m able to rep out 265 for 4 with ease. I have failed so many times with PR’s on squats but the goal is too keep on pushing and keep on getting stronger. Today I did failed a 315 squat PR, but there were many factors that contributed to that fail, however I know one day I’ll be repping that weight just like this 265 🔥 hopefully y’all are still pushing and getting stronger everyday, and as always let’s get these gainzzzzz 💪 . . . From Terrified to Thriving 🔥 Let's talk real for a sec. Going from having it all to suddenly feeling alone? Yeah, it was downright terrifying. The dating scene? A hot mess of catfishes and ghosts, making me question everything. ✨ But you know what? That's where the real growth happened. I realized I needed to lean into being with myself, even when it felt uncomfortable. So, cue the awkward date nights with yours truly and a spontaneous solo trip to Bali.🌴 Was it scary? Hell yeah. But guess what? It was also freakin' liberating. I discovered a strength I never knew I had and learned to love my own company.🌺 Now, I'm not saying it was all sunshine and rainbows. There were doubts, fears, and moments of total vulnerability. But through it all, I found myself. 295 Squat PR, letsssss gooooooo 🔥🔥 haven’t been able to hit a PR on squats for a while now, but it was the last day with bryanja18 so I had to make it count 💪 honestly, once I lifted this weight off the bar I knew I was going to be able to hit this rep easily. I transitioned to squatting low bar now and it feels amazing 🔥 the weight feels much better on my back and it feels much more natural then high bar. I know the depth does look a little shaky, but from my point of view I definitely hit parallel, and I did feel my hip crease, but next time for sure I’m going to make sure it looks good on camera too 😂 man I’m honestly so excited, the lean bulk has been going good too so hopefully I’ll be progressing more and more as time passes, and I’ll probably start cutting at the end of the year. Not to sure of when I want to cut but definitely not anytime soon. 265 x 4 Rep PR I hit a couple days ago, and finally got the chance to post it 💪 if you haven’t noticed, I have been posting a lot of my squat videos because 1. My squats have been feeling amazing lately, and 2. because that’s mainly the only thing I can record since my deadlifts and bench have not been up to the level I want them to be. But I’ll definitely be posting progress on those lifts soon. Strength has been going up on the lean bulk and muscle has been going up to. Which is mainly why my strength on squats has been going up lately. It’s actually really crazy to me how a year ago I was stuck at 225 and couldn’t even increase the weight, and now I’m able to rep out 265 for 4 with ease. I have failed so many times with PR’s on squats but the goal is too keep on pushing and keep on getting stronger. Today I did failed a 315 squat PR, but there were many factors that contributed to that fail, however I know one day I’ll be repping that weight just like this 265 🔥 hopefully y’all are still pushing and getting stronger everyday, and as always let’s get these gainzzzzz 💪 . . . 225 pound for 8 Rep PR 💪 Squats have started to feel amazing, after changing up my split after so long 🔥 if you have seen my previous posts of me squatting 225 you’ll see that I was stuck at this weight since last year, and wasn’t I able to increase my strength at all. Mainly it was because I didn’t know how to train for strength efficiently, and I would always try to rep the heaviest weight I could at the time. Now I have split up my days where one of my leg days I train for hypertrophy, and the other day I train for strength. This has allowed me to grow my muscle and progress in my strength training as well 😁 I can’t wait to see what the next year will bring me, when I start implement this plan even more 👌🏽 hopefully y’all are still pushing your limits out there and pursuing your goals, and as always let’s get these gainzzzzzz 🔥🔥 . . Here is somewhat of a PR of me doing 385 pounds on deadlifts 💪 honestly performing this lift was out of the blue, me, biishaal, and bryanja18 started with deadlifts first on our leg day, and decided to go for our PR’s. Turns out we all hit them 🔥🔥 one of the things that kind of brought me down in this lift was my grip 🤦🏿‍♂️ I’ve said this in so many of my deadlift posts that I need to start using chalk, but I still haven’t bought it. It is my fault because this PR could have been way cleaner, however I was still able to lockout all the way at the top even if it was for just a second. Hopefully in the near future I’ll be able to smash this same weight and pull it even better. Each day we are getting stronger and stronger and that’s all that matter 😁 Also don’t come at me for the way I take in a deep breath in the beginning of my lifts, I don’t know why I do it but it’s a habit 😂😂 but hopefully y’all are still pushing through and trying to be the best version you can of yourself, so as alwayssss let’s get these gainzzzzz 🔥💪 . . . Been training them more effectively in the past year and a half, and I have definitely seen a lot more growth. Just gotta train harder and harder Intill one day these bad boy grow bigger then my head 😂 but just a quick update for y’all on how my training is going. The gym has not been my best friend for my legs lately, as the injuries have been coming back. I will go more in depth about my injury in another post, but for now the training for my upper body has been amazing. Coming back stronger than ever 💪 I know I took a huge break from posting but honestly I was going through a lot these past couple of months. I had to take a couple months off of deadlifting because for some reason the form was just not there for me, and I wasn’t really able to train as heavy because my right hip started to get really tight. Took a couple months to just focus on form, and do some hypertrophy training rather than only training for strength, and let me tell you that was one of the best decision I made in my life. Even though it hurt to not be able to lift as heavy and only do about half my max, the results after my break were amazing. Today I just lifted 345 for 3 sets of 1 rep, and it felt easy. I don’t remember the last time a heavy weight like this went up so fast, but now I can focus on improving and getting even stronger with time 🔥 just a little heads up that a break is necessary, and sometimes that is the only way to grow. Life recently been pretty epic. Haven’t been posting I know, sorry. Just been locked in as of late. This week I’ve found myself in rooms I had never imagined being in and with individuals I have never imagined connecting with. It is definitely a reminder that God can open doors that you did not even see for yourself and although we can have a plan, God has His own plan. The beauty of it all is that I’ve been able to be in rooms where I have found human connection because of shared values and commitments for positive change.
