1 year Immunisations day. Like any injection she’s alot braver than I am. She was a little miserable this evening but not shocked. My bestie came round and they both had a lovely time playing together which means I can do stuff around the house with a baby attatched to my hip. I ordered black out film from Amazon and it was faaaar from blackout. I had black material up but it kept coming down. I have ordered a blackout blind that sticks to the window seal. What do you guys use? I’m renting at the moment and abit reluctant to drill in the walls but will do it if needed. Coucous and green veg bowls three ways - a lovely fresh salad for spring 🌱 Day one was steamed kale, broccoli and asparagus drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice with a sprinkle of chilli flakes 🌶️ day two I roasted the veg and added a tahini dressing, and finally day three I added pistachios and mint leaves (by far the best combo). Porridge with seeds and berries for breakfast. Dinner was a slow cooked chicken, bacon and red lentil casserole served with green beans. 2 syns per portion. Another kitchen experimental success. Looking for different ingredients for a healthy pasta dish. I've come up with a combination of diced tomatoes, fresh ginger, garlic, red bell peppers, asparagus, corn, parsley, and oregano soaked in a cool brine. The pasta I soaked in chicken broth and eventually added water to boil. The taste testing had my buds going crazy before draining the veggies and combining the dressed pasta.
