Remember the 6 am ball practices? The summer conditioning? Coach making you run for missed free throws? The length of your workouts don’t matter as much as the quality of your workouts Now if I had to give a specific number, I’d say for a strength workout, anywhere from 45-75 minutes will give you enough time to: ✅ warmup ✅ perform quality warmup sets & challenging working sets for your first 1-2 heavy compound exercises ✅ get 2-4 accessory exercises in ✅ have enough rest in between sets to push yourself That being said, given the option of a: 20-30 minute workout with high intensity, good quality form & improvements from last week Versus a: 60 minute workout of just going through the motions with no challenge, poor form & no push to progress I’d always choose the shorter workout Focus less on how much time you’re spending working out Focus more on the quality of your workouts You’ll get more out of your training if you focus on your intensity, form & progressing weekly!
