- People like me ..... I am the type of person whose competition is no one but herself. I love to run for and against myself, I love to compete with myself. But you know the drawback of the same is - we undervalue what we actually do. Lets say, in the morning I gave a target to myself to verify and rectify at least 500 cases but by EOD I am able to do just 350. So yeah it disappoints me. But in such a situation I ignore that the other person has given a commitment of only 200. I forget to appreciate myself for doing 350 only and feel disappointed because I didn't achieve my target of 500. People like me are difficult to understand. That's the reason why many times other people misunderstand me and the biggest problem with people like me is- when we know we are being misunderstood we don't go and give our side of the story. We feel it's better that way. People like me are ignorant to the world but very attentive when it comes to our people. We are adamant but would lose easily for our loved ones. People like me dream big. Can't know about the hardwork but we believe a lot. Believe that 'Everything is possible' and 'you have got this'. People like me believe in magic and vulnerability. People like me take words very seriously. If you said something which made us feel good we would remember for our whole lives but if you said something that ripped our heart then that too will be remembered for a brief period of time. We don't believe in 'saying one, feeling another'. People like me know ourselves in such a depth that we know exactly when we should express ourselves and when to not. When our expressing emotions will tighten a bond and when it will make the bond destructive. People like me are like mirror- We Can't hide, We can't lie And We have the potential to show exactly what you are. . . . P.S. Its another comfort in wearing brother's clothes!❣️ . . #dailythoughts #diary #bookreader #bookignite #bookisjoy #blogger #bloggerlife #bloggerworld #bloglife #wannabeablogger #booknook #booklovers

Welcoming may month with a new zeal and breeze of positivity!! .......... 👒 May has started!!! After a brief period of time, I am feeling this!! The contentment, happiness, joy, fun and mainly calmness. I am loving this version of me. Yeah sometimes, I feel like it's not me. I am not calm and silent. But then maybe time changes and so does a person. 💕 A few days back I heard one reel where a famous personality has been asked one question, 'what will you do if you become the PM of this nation?' and his reply stuck with me and somewhere that one line has become my go-to line for life, his reply was 'Nothing can happen in a day. It takes days to make something happen'. I don't know what it has, or if you felt this line in the depth to which it hit me or not, but yeah I did. 💕 I always believe that my life has never been predictable. It had its twists and turns (just like anyone else). But today when I look back, I realise that each and every twist and turn, each and every wrong way has led me to the journey which I am on currently. The thing which other people's pairs of eyes see is just that I woke up one day and got a lottery. But no...it's not that. It has been faith and the courage to take steps which no one took. My thoughts and actions might feel unreasonable and illogical to other people. But only my mind knows what it took me to get there. 💕 Today I realised one more thing which was 'If your mind is prepared, anything that comes on the table will be turned tasty by you' but if your mind is unprepared or against you then booommm! Hence, I made a mental note to myself to be more mentally strong. Be prepared for everything and anything. But also have your priorities set. You can't be there for everyone every time. So make sure who holds how much weightage in your life. Don't over spend yourself nor underspend (if that's even a word). 💕 Be respectful, Polite, Kind, Loving, Brave, Courageous, Strong, And most importantly': True to yourself. ..... P.S. Sky with clouds>>>>> ...... 📖 I guess I have got an update for myself. This updated version just thinks about her books and the stories that lie within them. No people, no attachments only the attachment with the books and its characters. The urge to hear their stories and understand them is something that my heart craves. 📖 Currently, at that position where I can ignore anything and anyone just for my reading. The ones who need me and want me have me but others I don't know. 📖 Today, I called my one of my closest best friend (school one), and it came as a little surprise for myself. Because I called her when I was busy doing my office work. My hands were rigorously working on the keyboards but still I was there talking. I don't know what it was...was it her I was missing, or I just wanted to talk to someone, or maybe I was just feeling lonely. Whatever it was, I am just glad that we talked. And not just a random talk but a call that lasted for 26 minutes. 📖 My office is teaching Me a lot of stuff. How people are mean, how we should behave, what we should do and everything. Finally I can say that 'I AM A CORPORATE EMPLOYEE'. 📖 Its funny right how we isolate ourself so much that we tend to forget ourself too. And the more funny thing is we expect someone else to come and find us. 📖 The thing which I like about books is- they have so much to tell, different stories, different characters, different ideologies, and we can have our opinions towards them. Plus, no character can take it personally. I can literally abuse one character and feel relaxed.... 📖 Thats it for today. (Sorry for being a little dark in this post but yeah that's how I am now. . . . . . #bookreader #bookstagrampeople #bookish_bingo #bookishallure #bookstammer #bookstagramitalia #booktok #bookglee #bookisjoy #dark #bookstagram #bookishme #bookishindian #indianreaders #blogger #ventingout #blog #blogspot

Sundays are lazy days>>>> ...... Every week I think about doing things on Sunday but the moment Sunday comes, I just waste it! Yeah I do nothing on my to-do list and do something completely different. So, like my normal Sundays I woke up almost at noon, then saw the movie 'Sita Ramam', started reading a book and then at eve made pasta and ate it. I just wasted my whole sunday. But guess what.... I just loved it. Doing nothing just lying. ....... #qotd🌸 : How was your sunday? ........ P.S. I want 2-3 more sundays!!!

🌊 And its summer time 🌴 ....... What am I doing currently??? Lost myself in the pages of this amazing book 'You belong with me' by Suchi Batra. I am almost in the middle of it and the story is quite going well. Still my opinion remains the dame- its nothing extraordinary or special but the few lines in between are catching my attention. Also, in some of the pages, there are artworks which I am loving. The story is quite predictable but I can't wait to unfold how it's gonna end.... ...... Yesterday, my mum asked me why I am underlining and what am I getting out of it....how should I make her understand that underlining lines means I have got a part of myself in that part of the book, I have lost a part of myself in that part, I saw myself in that part, I felt that part of the book, How should I tell her that Underlining/highlighting parts will help me travel through that book again whenever I would wish. ...... #bookstagrampeople #bookstagramfeature #bookish_bingo #pictures #bookisjoy #newlaunches #booklaunch #bookstagramitalia #bookstagramreel #bookishindian #indianbloggers #indianreviewer #reviewer #bookreviewer #bookishcontent #bookstgrammer #booknook #bookishedits #bookishglee

It's mid of April!!! ....... April is a month which comes with a lot of things with it. Every year, it comes with lots of twists and turns for me. This year too it came with lots of loads....my exams arrived, my emotional turmoil took another troll when in spite of giving my 100%, the feeling of not sufficing the needs and wants of the current situations was still there. Being human, we often come across many things that we feel may destroy us emotionally, physically, financially and in other ways. But What we tend to forget is: Our mind is a very powerful tool. When the mind needs and wants something, it gets it. Similarly, when it doesn't want something it ignores it. We should not forget that the mind isn't our enemy, it's our bestest friend!❣️ April has a lot in store for me. Its gonna be a box of experiences for me. And everything that it has for me is gonna be for my good. I believe that, I trust that! Have a great week ahead everyone! May whatever you want and need may get to you. . . P.S. //The river was still the same, saying nothing, yet revealing so much// ...... 💙 If anyone would tell me to summarize this book in a word then it will be 'LIFE'. Life as we all know has its own ups and downs. No two people can have the same journey and experience. Everyone has their own different path. One thing that I completely cherished about this book was the it wasn't all lovey-dovey and happy-happy, it showed everything- happiness, sadness, failures, irritation, each and every emotion which a human can feel in his life. 💙 The character building in this book was very strong. It was unmatchable. After I was 100 pages in the book, I felt like I was the protagonist of the book in my own way. Not only this, when i came across my bookstagram friends review for the same it was also similar when it came to relatability. 💙 This book had a special corner in my heart right from the day it arrived in my hands, it came with a beautiful bookmark and a beautiful and soothing kitchen of 'shivlinga'. Loved the thought behind the same! 💙 It was all bright and positive while reading the book. The experiences of the protagonist made me welcome to the changes going on in my life. It had some magic, the magic of simplifying my deepest darkest thoughts and making me breathe lively. 💙 The story as mentioned is quite well paced and in a lucid manner. The protagonists are powerful and relatable in some or the other way. The language of writing is simple and easy to understand. 💙 This book has so much to offer, only the recipient/reader should be a keen learner. 💟 If you are someone who wants something impactful, and soothing to read then this is your pick!! ...... What is a perfect day for me?? ..... Last weekend,I had an almost perfect Sunday for myself. I attended my college (am persuing post-graduation in Msc.Finance), submitted my project, gave viva with honesty and complete truth, (the thing that I love most in me is the ability to accept when I am wrong. I can't hide things), then had a heartfelt conversation with my college friend when I got to know about more different things as she is a person who has been into the corporate world since 8 years and has almost an experience of 4 different companies, met my friend...one of the closest friends when we chatted for a long time, read, writer and travelled a little. I did a bit of everything. It wasn't a perfect day because I read or wrote, or went to college, or travelled, or because I talked, it was almost perfect because after a long time, I did something that I wanted...truly wanted. I did things simple because I wanted to do them. I didn't do it because that was something needed or pre-decided or assigned to me , I simply did those because I wanted to. Knowingly or unknowingly I made a point to myself that such days should not be once or twice a month rather everyday. EVERYDAY. (or rather try to do it everyday) P.S. A perfect day for me is when I choose me, when I choose my happiness, when I decide what I wanna do with my time, when I don't force myself to do things that I don't want. ...... #qotd: What does a perfect day mean for you? ...... #bookreader #booklover #column #bookisjoy #bookstagramitalia #bookstagrammer #booktok #bookishallure #bookholics #bookishme #bookishme #bookstagrampl #bookishcoven #bookme #bookishme #bookstagrammersunite

//After a long time feeling contentment and happiness ..... For the past few days, I was super low and many things were happening simultaneously. But today just felt like everything was preparing me for it. I had so much good time, happiness, satisfaction and love. While I was coming back home, I realised many things out of which one main realisation was- 'Take that leap. Believe in you'. It indeed is very difficult to have a positive approach when you sucked at your First attempt (even multiple). But I learnt to go for it even when you didn't do well in the past. Do it, because who knows one attempt more and you are on the top! People come and go, but experiences stay. And make sure you experience everything in your life. ...... P.S. //There is only one right thing to do and that is what you think is the right thing to do// ...... 📖 It's been almost 4 years since I started book blogging. And since then I am looking forward to reading more of 'Priya Kumar' works. Her words are something else...they motivate me, they inspire me and give me a different perspective. I love how smoothly and clearly she explains everything. 📖 'I am another you' is one more book which I picked to read and I enjoyed it. The spiritual rituals which are mentioned in the book, their messages and everything was very engaging and interesting! 📖 The writing language is very simple to understand. One can easily read it even if h/dhe is the beginner to the reading. The narration of the whole story was done very beautifully. The page is maintained in a good way. Thus, reading this book is a very great experience for your mind, heart and soul. 📖 The journey which the author has written, is something which not only she travelled but by writing this book, every reader who would read it has gone through the similar types of emotions. The lessons which are taught, the realisations which are felt by the author has somewhat experienced by me too as a reader. And what else is a book other than to make you feel?? 📖 So, yeah if you are looking for something that will make you travel and can give you realisations, then this is your must pick!! ...... #priyakumarbooks #priyakumar #motivationalbooks #beingbooked #bookstagramitalia #bookisjoy #iamanotheryou #inspiration #bookishcommunity #reviewer #reviewersofinstagram #bookishreviewer #booksreview #shelfhelp #mustread #nonfictionalbooks #aestheticedits #edits #picsart #lightroom #bookishrainbow

//Powerful motivating read // ...... 💍 Since I was a child, I have had a wish to buy my marriage ring from Joyalukkas. (Hehe) I still don't know what's the main reason behind it, or from where this thought came in my mind but it is still there. 💍So when I saw this biography of the person behind the brand, I decided to purchase it! And after reading it, now I can say it was a very good decision of mine to pick it up. I feel reading biographies or autobiographies makes us grateful about the conditions we are in and motivates us to improve ourselves and our life. ✒️My takeaways from this book will be: • Think big. Dream big. • Expand your vision. • Dont stop • Think from a larger perspective. ✨ This book made me think, motivated me to do better and gave me a perspective on the world in a different way. The book will take you to the journey of how this brand was made, what were the struggles while doing it, and how the problems were tackled. It's a book which I feel every entrepreneur or people wanting to start their brands should read, because not only it tells you about struggles but the mindset that solved those problems. ✨ Talking about the reading experience, I feel it was one of the non-fictional books which I finished in a short span. The reason behind this was the short, crisp and engaging chapters. The author has also put various pictures which instantly connect you with The words written on the pages. The language of writing is very simple to understand. The narration is done very simply which makes it an easy read for even a beginner. ✨ So this book, is something which I feel you should read because it's very interesting to read about the brands and the minds behind making it. 🌟P.S. My wish to have my wedding ring from The same brand is still there! ......

"She loves healing during the day and touching souls at night through her scalpel and pen." // This book is one of books which continued to 2024 from 2023. When I first ordered it, the russian-ukraine war was all over the news and the blurb of the book highly suggested that this is gonna be something similar. I am not into such genres but then there are few books which we pick just to see whats there in between the pages of it. The war, the death, the faith and everything I just wanted to feel everything thus ordered it. I was very excited when I received the package. And once I saw the cover, I was excited to read it. And today I wanna share the experience with his book. 'THE LIFE OF TOLKA' was a distinct book to read because of its plot. The plot isn't something new but for me the things which worked while reading were- • Writing style of the author. The emotions, that terror and fear was written in a way in which I was very much impressed. There were moments where I felt a tear was waiting to come out. (And I am serious when I say, no book can make me cry..at least till now) • The attractive pictures before the chapters are being started. It gave me a good idea about what is followed next. • Along with the pictures, every chapter is started with a beautiful quote by other famous authors/philosophers, so even that was something I enjoyed. Apart from the above mentioned points, I loved how beautifully authors had done their jobs in mentioning the power of faith, belief and trust by the end of the book. In short, even though the plot might be filled with negative emotions, by the end of the book, it leaves you with a positive mindset and positive emotions. And there are not many books which do this. So I liked that! Apart from this, the book is good when it comes to formatting, editing and text style. The reading was easier because of all these factors. The language of writing is simple and easy to understand for everyone. The narration is fast paced. So yeah, if you are someone looking for an emotional rollercoaster then this is your pick! . . . #bookreviewer #bookstagramitalia #bookishcommunity #reviewersclub #bookreviewersclub #bookisjoy

/Smilessss/ 🌸Heya people... How you doin??? 😚I know its been long since I was here, but there has been lot of things going on along with the emotional turmoil. So its been majorly a 50-50 journey for me till now.But yeah the main thing which I loved about this period was I learnt to detach from things.I understood not everyone is worth my kindness and sometime its okay to restrict people who are not good for me. 🔥Talking about fun, I finished watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S 2 days back and now I kinda miss Joey.I loved the friendship of Joey and Chandler. They were so good. Just when I was confused about what to start rewatching(friends or TVD),I started Emily in Paris-season 3.Its kinda going well. 📚About reading, Theres a lot but I dont know lately my speed has been lowered down.My mind is all over the place and I dont know what to focus mainly. 👑Overall,a very good time till now.I am able to hold myself together.More detached, more happy! 😊Ciao... 💕Sending lots of smiles and positivity on your way!!

//A heart warming read// I don't know why and how this book isn't on bookstagram. And its so sad...No worries I am here to just ramble(don't know if at all such word exists) about this book. Yess so I picked this book because it was by TJR and after reading her novella,I was kinda intrigued about her writings. So yes..Also, I intentionally didn't picked 'The seven husbands' because many people had read it and it was quite a lot on booksta,I wanted something different. So yes..there goes the journey of picking this book. Now imagine you love a person since your teenage(school days). Then you marry and gets settle and just one day before of your anniversary,he goes missing.Years pass by,and no news and finally you to move on,one other person enters in your life and you are pretty much happy. And on one fine day your husband(the one who goes missing) comes at your doorstep. What will be your reaction? Thats the main idea of the book. And I sooo loveddddd it!!! I love TJR for this very one reason, the way she writes about character's feelings...Thats sooo good! Honestly, this book did magic for me because I instantly dived into another one by her(finished it yesterday). And whom to lie..Loved that one too!! The way in which love has been described is classic. The one line which struck my heart chords is-"You don't have to choose who you have to choose which you,you love the most". Also also also...the turn of events has been written in a very realistic manner. It felt very surreal that the protagonist's while nature, personality and choices turns upside down after one tragic thing. And ofcourse the sisters bond is greatly written. No matter how much we disagree or dislike them,we want them at the end of the day. So if you wanna read anything or something just go and pick this book up! Its a commendable one! ...... P.S.I loved to create this post a lot!! ......

Let me tell you little bit about the story: 💁🏻‍♀️The protagonist of the story is Kittu. The title of the story is apt because,Kittu lives with 4 men in her house. Her dad, grand father and her twin brothers. She lost her mother 10 years ago. 💁🏻‍♀️Kittu is a content writer by the profession. She works for a travel magazine. But there is a void in her heart. What is that void? What is the reason for this void? 💁🏻‍♀️A major twist comes when new neighbours comes at her place. What changes? What happens next? ✨Grab the book and unfold the answers yourselves. ____________________________________ ✨Now coming to my favourite part...My experience... 💗I liked this one.The emotions were nicely written. The language in which the author has written this book is good and lucid.Any beginner can read it easily. 💗The book took time to get grab my link but after 1/4th part,I got into it. 💗The main thing which I liked about the book is when the author wrote about Kitty's feelings.I was able to relate that character at some places. 💗Overall a good read. And also suitable for the beginners. ✨So grab this! #newrelease #parindajoshi #bookreviewer #reviewerscommunity #bookblogger #blogger #bookboost #bookmailisthebestmail #bookishreview #booknerd #bookshelf #bookisjoy #flatslay #bookish_simmy #walk_wid_a_book

#authorinterview Book:The Withering Faith Author:Bhavik Nagar ____________________________________ ✨Please tell us something about yourself. 👉🏻As a person, I consider myself as a well programmed machine with a heart. Disciplined and sometimes careless for myself. Highly optimistic. I like learning and exploring new things. Historical events and stories kept me excited. ✨ How did you get the idea of writing The Withering Faith? 👉🏻It emerges out from the amusive approach of my friends towards day to day incidents. And recent issues today’s youth is facing, how he or she would try to balance social and economic responsibilities and get shattered with burden though try to sustain against problems. ✨ How and when did you get into writing? 👉🏻It was in 2011 when I thought I should have to write something that would portray the feelings that we are not able to describe against anyone. So words are the best way to approach with your feelings. It was in 2014 when I wrote the first book but it is not published yet and ‘The Withering Faith’ is my third book I have written and first to get published. ✨What can readers expect from the book? 👉🏻In short, I would say readers will experience themselves into the characters as I believe everyone has passed through that phase of life when our mind and heart get conflicted at many occasions. ✨When can we expect your next book? 👉🏻No particular time but possibly in first quarter of 2022. ✨The book is about romance, love and separation. Are you planning to explore other genres in your next book? 👉🏻I felt it always has unlimited stories but sometimes picking up a different subject will be proved as an emerging of creative story and keep you engaged in writing effectively. Suspense crime thriller will be my next preference. #authorinterviewer #bookblogger #blogger #bookboost #bookaddict #bookisjoy #bookish_post #bookishfeature #letstalk #authortalks #knowtheauthor #knowingauthor #bookishlyengaged #interviewlive #bookholics #bookish_simmy #walk_wid_a_book

#review Book:Triangle of Treason Author:Bob Richards _________________________________ 🍁'Triangle of treason' is a book written by Bob Richards which is an exciting and enthralling read! 🍁The story revolves around three characters mainly Captain Grant, Hooks and Harvey. 🍁Now let me tell you where the plot is based, it's in Bermuda! Bermuda triangle interests me from the start and now this book just mentioned that place and I liked it! There is fun reading the plots based on our interested areas. 🍁So, now coming to the book- The plot is so captivating! I loved how the author has mentioned each and everything in detail. The title is just apt for the book! The narration done by the author is good. 🍁The thing I would like to mention is that this is the first time that I have read a book like this. It may seem a bit long to non-readers but I will say that once you develop a grip on the story, you will just flip pages till the book ends. 🍁Overall, a very good book and an interesting storyline. ❄️Whats the weather like where you are at? ❄️We just happen to be getting more snow today. Go figure. ❄️Im currently reading this gem, Romanov for a book club. Everyone has finished this one so far except me of course 😅 ❄️synopsis: Anastasia Romanov was given a single mission: to smuggle an ancient spell into her suitcase on her way to exile in Siberia. It might be her family’s only salvation. But the leader of the Bolshevik army is after them, and he’s hunted Romanov before. Anastasia’s only chances of saving herself and her family are either to release the spell and deal with the consequences, or to enlist help from Zash, the handsome soldier who doesn’t act like the average Bolshevik. She has only dabbled in magic, but it doesn’t frighten her half as much as her growing attraction to Zash. She likes him. She thinks he even like her. That is, until she’s on one side of a firing squad...and he is on the other. "One of the most daring and liberating novels ever written". . . . . •"At the bottom of her heart, however, she was waiting for something to happen. Like shipwrecked sailors, she turned despairing eyes upon the solitude of her life, seeking afar off some white sail in the mists of the horizon. She did not know what this chance would be, what wind would bring it her, towards what shore it would drive her, if it would be a shallop or a three-decker, laden with anguish or full of bliss to the portholes. But each morning, as she awoke, she hoped it would come that day; she listened to every sound, sprang up with a start, wondered that it did not come; then at sunset, always more saddened, she longed for the morrow". . . . . •"Everything, even herself, was now unbearable to her. She wished that, taking wing like a bird, she could fly somewhere, far away to regions of purity, and there grow young again". . . . . . #gustaveflaubert #madambovary #emmabovary #frenchliterature #bookstagramindiafeatures #bookstagramindiareads #bookstagramfeatures #bookislove #bookloversph #booknerdproblems #bookwormlife #bookshelfie #penguinclassics #charlesbovary #indiareads #bookisjoy #classicliterature #literaturequotes #readings #readingtime📖 #booksuggestions #aesthetics #bookishpost
