And that's a wrap on slow cooker meals for the week! 🤟 Tonight we have @boredoflunch pappardelle alla bistecca, but with tagliatelle as I couldn't get hold of lasagne sheets to make the pappardelle 😂 I used a pack of diced beef I had rather than steaks, and @asda extra special mixed mushrooms rather than chestnut and porcini, and it was all delicious in the creamy beefy sauce. Another fantastic recipe! I really enjoyed using someone else's recipes this week for dinners rather than doing all the planning myself. I absolutely adore cooking, but sometimes I lose my inspiration for new things, which is where a new cook book does wonders! As a whole, I really do recommend his new slow cooker cook book! There's a really huge variety of meals and I've barely touched the sides.

I never eat lamb (feels wrong eating it morally!) but it's the boyf's fave, so every now and then I'll indulge him 😂 Tonights dinner was @boredoflunch spiced lamb flatbread recipe from his new slow cooker cookbook! Admittedly, this was delicious. At 433 a serving, the lamb is slow cooked with a variety of spices, then served with julienned cucumber and a subtly spiced harissa and mint yoghurt in warm flatbreads. It really did make a gorgeous combination, and was a great way to use a rose harissa paste I had in the cupboard I've been wondering how to use! Another gorgeous slow cooked dinner thanks to this cookbook! And also another delightful perk of working from home and having my love come home at a decent time, is being able to make foods like this to eat together. ❤️

Trying out my first recipe from @boredoflunch new slow cooker cookbook! 😍 Albeit untraditional, his take on beef stifado with orzo was utterly divine! I actually used half the amount of orzo (and stock) because I had less than I thought, but it still made 2 big dinner portions and 2 smaller portions for lunches this week. At only 423 calories a serving with the full recipe, this really was ruddy excellent. Super easy to make, and our apartment smells sensational! Looking forward to trying more! 💛

🍯 Pressure cooker honey garlic noodles 🍯 Thank you @boredoflunch for this recipe 😋 I made it in the pressure cooker today and it was great! Solid 10/10 recipe tonight!! OMG adapted version of @boredoflunch firecracker chicken.
