I feel that oftentimes sumo is seen as the easy way out on social media. It is often quite the opposite as it is a significantly more technical lift. Lastly, I would like to emphasize the point that for a lot of lifters, the main reason to switch over is often due to the significant levels of fatigue conventional can cause in comparison to sumo. Another weeks training ticked off. Things are starting to move nicely again, and I’m finally feeling strong again. • Bench was a little tough earlier in the week, but we got it done. Squats are feeling good again, happy with the bounce back after the shit show they became a few weeks ago. And dead’s are feeling the best they’ve felt in a while. Bootleg 2024: Week 8, Day 3: Really good session here. Probably set a record on the warmup circuit, but heart rate wasn’t nearly as elevated as it was when I started the wenning warmups. Nice to be getting better cardio without doing my cardio. The PR squat accessory was inverted yoke bar squats. You have to be dialed in on these, because as soon as you tilt forward, you’re in for a fight. Good if you need to work on pushing back into the bar out of the hole, like me. Deadlifts followed and I can tell my back is nearly normal again. Pull was just as easy as I would expect something this light to be. Looking forward to bumping training max next wave. Some abs, hip work and hamstring work to wrap it up. Nationals Prep - Week 3! Another week, another change in plans. After deadlifting alone on Tuesday, I decided its not a vibe and asked to change back to Friday lol. Monday 15deg incline bench – 76.5kg x 9. I had to do 10 for no back off ☹. Back off was 72.5kg x 10. Tuesday Sumos - 142.5kg x 4; 147.5kg x 4; 152.5kg x 4. Felt off this session, was wondering if I was actually sick and went home and did a Covid test! Felt like it had been a long time since I trained, and the week away was catching up with me. But got it done, only the last rep of the last set was a bit lazy in maintaining the technique. Thursday TnG Bench – 96kg x 7. Very happy with the grind on the last rep, normally my right elbow reaches a certain point and wont budge! I got 6 with 96.5kg a few weeks ago, so I’m calling this a rep PB lol. Only one top set this session as I’ll be benching again on Monday! Friday Squats – 150kg x 4. Felt so much better than the last squat session. The wraps felt good, the squats felt fast. Something about squatting on a comp platform to help bring the energy! Again, one top set, as I’m squatting again on Tuesday. Sumos – 165kg x 3! Wasn’t expecting this in week 3 lol. Had to throw in a heavy deadlift today because I wont deadlift again until next Friday. 😫NOT COOL😫 . Pause Deadlift: 480lbs Single 455lbs Warm Up 405lbs x 3 (2 Sets) . Started out pretty good, just a little sore from my last squats. My main focus was to keep my head up and not loose to much position off the floor. Got a little to ambitious and went to heavy but still got all my sets in. My back was already a little aggravated going into this and this definitely did not help. 너무 빠르지도 느리지도 않게, 적당한 속도로 #다이어트 순항 중🛳️ 운동 + 식단 + 휴식 3박자가 잘 맞아 떨어져야 다이어트도 잘 되거등요〰️ 운동을 꾸준히 하니까 오히려 식욕도 컨트롤 돼서 딱히 더티한게 안땡기니까 식단 스트레스도 없고, 그렇게 매 끼니 건강하게 챙겨먹으니까 몸도 가벼워져서 운동 퍼포먼스도 더 잘 나오고, 운동 시간이 거의 일정하게 정해져 있다 보니 식사 타이밍도 거의 일정하게 따라오고, 그렇게 운동+식사 타이밍이 딱딱 맞아 떨어지면 수면시간도 안정적이고, 아주 #선순환 이라는 말씀✨ 그런 의미에서 스트레스 없는 쫀맛 레시피 공유하면서 피드 마무리 해보게쯤다 총총💨 #작심닭 에 작심통밥 귀리 주먹밥 + 닭가슴살/닭가리살 조합 우주 최강이다‼️ 영양 밸런스 깡패에 맛도 깡패임😎 @myroufit_official
