Book 3 of 2024 #bookreview The Truly Devious series was recommended to me by a friend @lj_morgan_ a while back, and my lovely sister-in-law bought it for me for my birthday. Needless to say I jumped straight in! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Having not read anything from this genre for a very long time, I wasnโt sure what to expect from this #yafiction but I loved how @maureenjohnsonbooks created an environment that I so easily got lost in. Thirty years ago I pictured studying at Mallory Towers, and now I imagined how amazing it would be to be a pupil at Ellingham Academy. My only complaint? Last week we celebrated our middleโs 10th birthday! Thatโs right - double digits!!! ๐ฅณ I personally find these middle years to be such a sweet spot. I also find them kind of hard to shop for so I included our gift ideas on the next slide. She loved all of our selections! ๐คฉ We have been looking for a way to increase her independence with support and we settled on the Gizmo watch from @verizon. We love that it has calling and texting to few contacts, photos, location, time, to do list and timer. We also love it doesnโt have games or the internet! And itโs all controlled by the parents! Yay!โ๏ธ Also highly suggest pajamas from Old Navy for those that have outgrown the skintight variety.
