Páginas: 352 Valoración: 4🌟 Sinopsis: Becca es alocada, divertida y ocurrente. A vengativa no le gana nadie y sus ideas son insuperables. Por la familia que ha elegido es capaz de hacer cualquier cosa para que estén bien. Noel es atento, cariñoso y protector. Él es poli y también el mejor amigo del hermano de Becca. Sus trastadas se cruzarán en su camino más de una vez, pero intentará poner cordura para evitar un desastre. Ella lleva suspirando por él tanto tiempo que ha perdido la cuenta, es tan positiva que nunca ha perdido la esperanza de que algún día caiga rendido a sus pies. Él siempre la ha visto como una hermana y nada más, ¿verdad? Valoración: 🌟🌟🌟🌟/4 estrellas La novela está narrada por ambos protagonistas. Los capítulos son cortos y contienen diálogos de lo más ocurrentes, os vais a reír a carcajada limpia. El ritmo de lectura es muy ligero, las páginas se te pasan volando, Es un historia con mucho humor y escenas muy cómicas. Algo que también me encantan de las historias de la autora es que siempre tienen mucha importancia: la amistad, el amor y la familia. Asimismo, nos habla sobre: el miedo, las inseguridades, la soledad, el perdón, de dejarse llevar y de quererse a uno mismo. En este libro me ha faltado algo más en el argumento para terminar de engancharme. He pasado un muy buen rato con él pero venía de el libro más top de la autora para mi: Estupidamente Encantador y este me ha parecido algo más flojo. Ayer fui a la biblioteca y encontré esta joya tan preciosa. 𝐂𝐲𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐨 de @taimarclethanh @rebeccadautremer y la editorial @edelvives_editorial Cyrano tenía una nariz enorme y estaba enamorado de su prima Roxana. Nunca se atrevia a decirle nada por su enorme nariz. Cyrano además era un gran poeta. Y en este cuento tan bonito nos encontramos con la historia narrada con total libertad del escritor Taï-Marc Le Thanh a partir de la obra Cyrano de Bergerac, de Edmond Rostand. Y como no, las delicadas ilustraciones de Rébecca Dautremer que son joyas. Adelaide fell in love with Rory Hughes and will do anything to please. The relationship so disrespectful that my heart ached for Adelaide. Thankfully, she has an awesome group of friends - Eloise, Nico, Madison, Celeste and Sam - who stood by her side and provide her with the emotional support and stood by her side always. I absolutely love a cosy murder mystery and this was no exception, I love Dee she's the perfect "older" lady character that cosy murder mysteries thrive on. I love it, gives me all the Jessica Fletcher, sleuthing old dear vibes and I'm all here for it! Corpse In The Chard was written really well, the diversity of characters really brought this novel together, the unfortunate dead clown being the centre of the plot was a great turn of a 'who dunnit' mystery. Coupled with a fantastic line up of characters, a great plot that kept me guessing, Corpse In The Chard was a great read that I thoroughly enjoyed. Series Review ✨- Okay I know this series is massively popular on bookstagram but I’m going to be honest and say I found it just okay. Did I read all 3 anyways? Yup I sure did! 🙃 What I liked❤️: -The puzzles -The sorta love triangle but also the importance of family -Always here for a smart FMC -The fact that every detail seems to play a big part What I didn’t like 🖤: -Towards the end it got confusing. I had to draw out. Family tree 😆 -I wanted a more exciting wrap up -Maybe I’m just not very smart but it become a bit much that these teens were able to solve these massively complex puzzles and games. I think I was just ready for it to be done by the end. I know the series had an another book added later that branches off in a new direction but I just don’t think I care enough about any of the characters to start the next instalment. Do I recommend it? It’s wildly popular so I may be an outlier but I’m going to go with no. I said this before and I'll say it again, I love this series so much, the dynamic between Charlotte and Julian was on point and the situations they both found themselves in created not only a gripping but fantastic read. Bitten by Chaos is the final installment of this series but what a finale it is! I loved it so much, it followed on from Bitten by Desire perfectly and I really liked how everything changed in this book. It was the perfect ending. I honestly didn't know which direction this one was gonna go, but I loved every minute. I loved Char, her character is strong, she faces everything head on and still manages to have the strength not to give up. The twists and turns in this novel were written perfectly, Lizzy Gayle really honoured this series and gave us a finale that is satisfying to the reader! I always say how fantastic Lizzy Gayle's writing is and I'm saying it again because it's so true, no matter what the book is, she has a way of luring you into the story and keeping you engaged right to the very end. ⭐ BOOK REVIEW ⭐ Bitten by Betrayal book 3 of the Bitten Paranormal Romance Series by Lizzy Gayle. Bitten by Betrayal picks up from Bitten by Trouble and I love how we are thrown into the story. I keep saying it but Char and Julian are perfect characters, they each have flaws which makes them realistic characters. I love all the side characters too, they really bring the story together with our main duo. I really enjoyed this third installment, we had action and an introduction to a new villian - Major Marcia Honeywell, she wasn't straight cut and I loved how she was created, she was cunning, I thought could the villian actually win this time? I felt this book was grittier than the first two, more spice and more revelations and emotions. I really felt for Char! I finished this book last night and I'm still trying to process what happened at the end. I found the book really interesting, it explored the world of Sugar Daddies and Sugar Babies, something I've never known very much about. It showed, the reality and ugliness of the world, it opened my eyes and although I struggled to understand why Nat & Gabe would enter the lifestyle they had, it was written in a way that did make sense. I couldn't help but sympathise with both of them. Sidenote: Oleg- you're a legend. The ending of the book was brilliant, I'd seen reviews saying the ending explained too much and some people preferred to be left guessing. I, however, liked that everything was tied up rather than an open ending, but that's just me. 📚 Αν είσαι από εκείνους που δεν μπορούν να διαχωρίσουν το συγγραφέα- άνθρωπο από το έργο του και η alpha male, τοξική βαρβατίλα που ακολουθεί τον Χέμινγουει σε ξενίζει, δεκτό. Θα έχεις προσπεράσει πάντως, ένα μυθιστόρημα που έχει χαρακτηριστεί ως το κορυφαίο αντιπολεμικό έργο όλων των εποχών. Hello 👋 and I'm back on the Maasverse train! I'm going on the route where this is the 2nd book I'm reading on the #TOG series. I think I'll go with the Assassins Blade as the next book in the series. I know there are different orders you can read the entire series, but this is the way I chose to go with. I also know that some say to skip Assassins Blade entirely, but I don't think I'll do that. Book Review: Crown of Midnight Author: Sarah J. Maas Rating: 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Okay, so this is the second book I chose to go with in the series. I think by choosing this, it is starting to pick up. I think that this is the 3rd book that was released in the original order, which would explain why it instantly picked up. I also read Thone of Glass as the 1st book. This is the first time I'm reading this series, so I'm going into it completely blind. From what I know, Ms. Maas started this book when she was young. I read Acotar first in 2015. If I have to compare, the writing is different. You can tell that there is growth from when she was much younger than her writing as an adult. I still enjoyed the Crown of Midnight overall. I enjoyed how Calaena shifted from being the King's Champion to figuring out what to her is worth fighting for. Her love triangle also looks like it completely shifts. I do find myself getting frustrated with her character in this book because, I find that even when she was upset about the lies that was hidden from her that lead to certain deaths, she also kept secrets of her own. ⭐ BOOK REVIEW ⭐ Bitten by Trouble book 2 of the Bitten Paranormal Romance Series by Lizzy Gayle. I absolutely loved it Bitten By Trouble, it followed Bitten by Surprise perfectly. I love Char and Julian so much, their characters are developed really well and they just keep developing. This is so quick paced and I love the suspense created throughout. The storyline is fantastically created and I loved the direction it went in, it kept me guessing and I was pleasantly surprised. I always say this but I just love how Lizzy Gayle writes, she has a magical way with her world and character building. She writes in an eloquent and passionate way, that grips the reader from the off set. Os traigo el libro que me leí en día y medio porque menudo vicio (y que llorera) Título: Fin de Gira Autora: Alina Not Páginas: 564 Sinopsis ( cortita y sin spoilers) Zoe Clark es hija de una estrella del rock y ha pasado sus dieciséis años de vida de ciudad en ciudad durante las giras mundiales de su padre. Hasta que, un buen día, sus padres anuncian su divorcio y ella y una maleta con todas sus cosas acaban en el pequeño pueblo perdido donde creció su madre. Claro que también está ese estúpido batería al que no soporta y que parece odiarla en la misma medida y sin ningún motivo. Ese chico que, por alguna razón, ha renunciado por completo a la idea de ser feliz. Pero si fuera tu última noche en la tierra con quien querrías pasarla. Puntuación: Le doy 3 de 5 estrellas. Es un libro que me ha generado muchos sentimientos encontrados . Por eso le doy tres estrellitas. No es un libro para todo el mundo, es bonito habla de la amistad, el amor, vivir el presente, de la vida. Porque a veces la vida puede ser cruel y injusta. Me gusta mucho la relación de los protagonistas, el grupo de música es un puntazo y la narrativa de las cartas también. En mi opinión pero la autora se ceba con los protagonistas porque todo lo que puede salir mal, sale peor en algunas partes del libro. Y yo quizás no esperaba tanto drama, soy más positiva. Ya se lo dije ayer me emocioné, reí, lloré y reflexione con este libro pero es triste. Y sabéis que me contesto....que si quiero un libro de mamaracheo y salseo que me lea Bad Ash XD. ⭐ BOOK REVIEW ⭐ Bitten by Surprise book 1 of the Bitten Paranormal Romance Series by Lizzy Gayle. I love Lizzy Gayle, her writing is so creative and reading it is so effortless. I just love the way she captures us from the start and drags us into the story. I found Bitten by Surprise an excellent read, I particularly liked the sciencist aspect mixed in with magic and vampires. I loved all the characters, they all brought something to the table and they enhanced the story line. Though Charlotte and Julian will be my favourite! I was surprised with the twists and I was eager to find out what was going to happen next. I thought the fated mates interesting and the mention of the past lives had me intrigued, it's a shame that the story didn't delve further into that, but to be honest the plot line was deep and exciting enough so maybe that could be in another book (I'm hoping there's more books on this genre).
