Oh my days this was lush! Free range 5% pork mince cooked with a little onion powder. I then added Spinach until it wilted & popped an egg on top of the mixture. Let that cook ( lid on 🍳). Honey Jerk Prawns 🍤🍯🍤🍯🍤🍯 Well along time since posting, lost the 3lb Christmas gain & have completed dry January 😃 Fabulous 3 syn per portion recipe from the amazing @slimming.gym.and.gin, fabulous recipes 😋 400g raw king prawns 2tbsp runny honey 1tbsp chopped garlic 2tbsp reduced sugar/salt tomato ketchup 1tsp paprika 1tbsp jerk seasoning 1 lime freshly squeezed .Mix all of the marinade ingredients, set aside. . Stir fry the prawns for a couple of minutes, then add the marinade, continue stir frying until the sauce condenses down to nothing, so prawn’s should be left in a sticky coating. . 🫘FULL OF BEANS 🫘 . Bit of a different #transformationtuesday for you this week SATC! Both pictures feature 3 of the same thing….one being me (obvs 🤣), two being beans on toast and three being Freddie…just on the left we’d just found out about him and had a heartbeat and today on the right we had just registered him so Master Frederick Joseph Henry is an official person!! . Mr O and I celebrated his registration with beans on toast in one of our favourite little cafes in Stratford called @delicafestratford ! Freddie’s registration was somewhat different to Evelyns in that when she was born in Amsterdam it was all rather rushed because we were told it would be easier to register her death if her birth was registered and also we needed her to have EU status as the medical bills were a little expensive!! . Anyway, let’s go onto the more important topic and that is food as now I’m on little velvet black dress mission. Beans on toast is pure comfort for me and it’s super on plan for us Slimming Worlders. In my opinion beans on toast is a meal that can make anything better. Feeling poorly = beans on toast, wanting to feel like I’m with my Nanny and Poppa = beans on toast and my gramps used to give me mint sauce with it (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it), given birth not knowing you’re pregnant and in the Ronald McDonald house in Amsterdam = beans on toast, just found out you’re pregnant unexpectedly and seen a little heart beat flicker = beans on toast! . Food when you’re on plan doesn’t need to be complicated and the simple things are often the best! Bought these in Aldi this week. I really like the peach Bellini one. All syn free and help keep my craving for wine at bay 😅. 3rd week back on slimming world and I’m so happy with the results already! My other half has been great he’s been coming to the gym with me and swimming and keeping me completely on track. It’s been nice to have some exercises planned ready and someone to tell me if I’m doing something right or wrong. I’m looking forward to another week on plan.
