Your cheat-sheet to building big shoulders. Here's your exercise arsenal to target each delt for maximum definition: Front delts: 💪🏻 Military Press (barbell or dumbbell): The king of shoulder exercises. Press the weight overhead while keeping your core engaged for stability. This compound movement hits all three delts heads with an emphasis on the front delt. Side delts:  💪🏻 Lateral Raises (dumbbell or cable): Isolate your side delts with controlled movements. Raise your arms out to the sides with a slight elbow bend, feeling the burn in your side delts as you lift. Think pouring a glass of water or wine if you prefer. Sharing photos is not easy for me. 😭 But they are as real as they come!! I remember the day of the Jet Ski. It was soo challenging for me to pull myself up and get on. I remember I was afraid of falling off and not be able to get back up on my own. I was out of breath and my upper body was hurting to maneuver the jet-ski around (because I wasn’t strong enough). 😓 This moment was a huge breaking point for me. Upper body day ftw. Not a big fan of filming myself in the gym, I personally believe if you're at the gym you're there to workout and occasionally socialize. It's saddening to see the rise of fitness influencers shifting the gym atmosphere by creating an environment that is targeted towards materialism and social gain. Despite that, I feel the world of fitness on social media is continuously evolving and changing. My take is a generalization of some of my personal experiences at the gym and what I've seen on social media. That being said, I think its valuable that everyone is learning and entering an atmosphere where they feel comfortable and confident enough to do so. I just don't know where we draw the line of filming in a public setting, especially in a commercial gym environment. 🤔 Regardless, today's workout was much needed. Got to bump into some of my lovely gym friends and you know gym crushes keep me motivated to go so it was nice seeing them there too. Made my pissy mood, into a less pissy one. 😅😂 Anyways hope everyone has a happy hump day. 🐪❤️

Back day lifts. Pull ups and bent over rows are probably my favorite in terms of range of motion and just excited to see progress and perfect form in. This is also your sign to stop being afraid of using the assisted pull-up machine because of your ego. Body weight pull-ups *are* hard it’s basically the equivalent of doing your weight for bent over rows or your weight in a pulldown. 2024 GOALS: BENCH PRESS 🎯 Ah bench press, my current least favourite lift. You’ve gotta hate one though right? 👀 I’ve been spending countless hours lying on foam rollers and working through different stretches, and I’m pretty sure I have a bench variation programmed for each day of the week (at least it feels that way 🤣) but it is very much of case of long limbs 1 - 0 Sarah (again) I’ve been learning to arch better, use my leg drive more and work on my control instead of panicking my way through the heavier sets. We managed to break out of 50kg jail just last week, so will we FINALLY see a new bench press PR on the horizon? Will I make it to a bodyweight bench before the end of comp season!? 💪UPPER BODY & CORE with mini band💪 ___________________________ I use mostly dumbbells, cables and barbells for upper body but I do also like to use mini band like this when my core involves and it feels great 🙏 ⏯️ Do each move for 20 reps 🔂3 rounds ❗️Notice the breathing pattern! - Inhale before start-Expand the diaphragm, side and back body along with rib cage up and out and let the breathe expand into your back and ribs. - Exhale execute the motion-when the motion is harder-pull the pelvic floor upward like an elevator going up, bring the rib cage down and in and let the abdominals contract.
