Als ich hörte, dass der Drehbuchautor einen Roman geschrieben hat, wusste ich, dass ich ihn lesen muss. 'An Rändern' ist kurz und intensiv. Fast Prosa, wahrscheinlich autobiografisch. Schmerzhaft, schlimm und schön. Noch tiefer als der Film, das ging für mich kaum. Aber anders tief haben diese Zeilen auch viel mit mir gemacht, mich verwundet und gestreichelt. Und klar, die Geschichte ihres Lebens ist untrennbar verbunden mit der Geschichte ihrer Band. Die erfolgreicher wurde, als sie es sich je vorstellen konnte. Und trotzdem gewissermaßen ihr eigenes Projekt blieb. Ging ordentlich tief rein, was ich da gelesen habe. Ich wünsche ihr, dass sie so oft wie möglich so glücklich wie möglich ist. NOUVELLE C H R O N I Q U E La Rose Blanche - Inge Scholl ◊ En allant à Berlin, j’ai préparé mon voyage en choisissant les musées incontournables (il y a 32 musées à Berlin) et j’ai repensé à Sophie, Hans et Christoph même si leurs actions ont eu lieu à Munich. Du coup, j’ai eu envie de lire le témoignage émouvant de la soeur de Hans et Sophie qui a souhaité raconter l’histoire de ce mouvement résistant de la Rose Blanche. Jeunes étudiants, ils ont tenté avec leurs maigres moyens de lutter contre le régime nazi.. le prix à payer sera le plus terrible. ✨Mini The Pick Up Book Review✨ This book has fake dating, single parents, funny banter, and grumpy x sunshine where he is the sunshine! Oh! And I can’t forget that he is Irish! The Pick Up is a first person POV told by Sophie, a 33-year-old single mom who wants to desperately get along with the other moms so her daughter can get invited to social events and not feel left out in school. Joe is a single dad who is LOVED by the other moms, and they are getting a little too smothering for comfort. So Joe proposes the idea they start a fake relationship so they can both get what they want. This launches them into a romantic comedy love story that had me laughing out loud and eating this book up. It is heartwarming and sweet, and you get to see their relationship grow slowly until it boils over and they both need to make a decision. The family dynamics were so perfect here, you not only fall in love with the main characters, but also with all those they hold dear to them. Yet, the only thing that kept this book from being a 5 star read was… YOU GUESSED IT… There was a lot of miscommunication that led to following assumptions and misunderstandings. If all of this sounds like something you would love to read, book comes out May 9th! Alors oui, avec Agnès Martin-Lugand, on ne file pas dans un humour désopilant, mais toujours dans une vague de douceur et une plume juste et bienveillante. . Et une fois de plus, je ne fais que le répéter à chaque roman lu de cette auteure : je n'ai pas retrouvé l'engouement des gens heureux... Oui, je suis comme une toxico à la recherche de ses sensations ressenties après sa toute première dose d'Agnès... J'ai adoré, mais la prise aux tripes n'aura pas été aussi violente : Les gens heureux lisent et boivent du café m'aura touchée et mise dans un tel état ! Je n'ai jamais pleuré à aussi chaudes larmes qu'auprès de Diane... . Ici, nous partageons les blessures d'Erin, Gary et Ivan. L'histoire de femmes et d'hommes qui tanguent entre leur prédisposition à vivre sur terre et leur besoin de se perdre dans l'océan. Une histoire de marins qui n'ont peut-être pas le pied terrestre et inversement. . Comme toujours, il y a la plume de l'auteure qui nous plonge dans la psychologie de chaque personnage de façon si intense que j'en suis troublée presque à chaque fois. . Mais cette fois-ci, j'ai trouvé une évolution de l'auteure par rapport à ces personnages : la noirceur de l'un d'eux est une chose à laquelle nous n'avions pas été habitués. L'ensemble m'a alors paru bien différent de ses autres écrits. Cela ne m'a pas déplu, mais pour le coup surprise. . Nous avons donc ici bien la même plume, mais l'orientation de l'écriture et de la psychologie des personnages sont nouvelles, et peut-être un peu plus périlleuses. J'ai apprécié cette évolution, et je suis donc bien curieuse de découvrir ce que l'auteure nous réserve pour le prochain ! 😊 .

📖 A Rainha do Nada 📖 Olá 👑 Este foi o final perfeito para a trilogia perfeita! Quando, no final de 'O Rei Perverso', já achávamos que tudo estava perdido, eis que tudo ficou no seu devido lugar. Quando comecei a ler 'O Príncipe Cruel' estava longe de pensar que iria ficar completamente viciada nestas personagens e nas suas histórias. Mas, entre a complexidade deste mundo, a intricada história, a guerra política, o medo, o ódio e, claro, o amor, eu fiquei seriamente agarrada a estes livros. Happy both #flatlayfriday and #farseerfriday with #robinhobb again, this time with #rainwild . This quartet was originally suppose to be a duology, but the publisher made her split it in half. Would it have made the books better if it was a duology? Would it made it even more ya as duology i been seeing past 3 years been more tready there. Even the ones that are written as adult feels more ya. . . If it was a duology, would have the books been released quicker I wonder? . . And do mid series changes in cover bother you like with these? I don't mind, but people do mind with hardcovers, a lot of time the hardcovers just go out of print, never getting reprinted with matching covers. . . . Ich habe Iris und Roman unglaublich gern begleitet und war fasziniert von ihrer magischen Brieffreundschaft. Es entsteht eine intensive Geschichte die viele wichtige Themen anspricht. Eine Szene hat mich wirklich geschockt, damit hätte ich nie im Leben gerechnet. Als sich Iris als Korrespondentin für den Kriegsdienst meldet, steht dieser mehr im Vordergrund und die Geschichte wird spannend und bedrückend und hat mich nicht mehr losgelassen.
