BALANCE and turning the big 3 0 ✌🏼 I’ve spent the past week with a bunch of my nearest and dearest friends in Bali (soon to be my new home!) 🌴 Celebrating my 30th birthday (just a few months early!) I drank many margaritas 🍸 I didn’t track calories ❌ I ate pizza 🍕 and chips 🍟 My vegetable intake was ⬇️ I danced my heart out 💃 I swam in the ocean 🌊 I only trained about 3 times 💪🏼 But you know what, I am a human too! ✌🏼✌🏼 Often people expect personal trainers to be perfect ALL the time. There is a misconception that we judge others if they aren’t “healthy” 🙃 For me, I would rather watch what I eat the 90% of the year I’m not on holiday! Why? 🤔 So I can ENJOY myself when I go on holiday, completely guilt free! ✨ Sure, I felt pretty disgusting by the end of it. I felt watery/bloated and was craving vegetables and training in the gym again. But remember, one week a year won’t hinder your results! Currently in my “not buying an excess amount of food era.” It’s been a realistic gram since I started, and it’s going to stay that way as the carts ebb and flow.
