Not a selfie 🙃 it’s been a while, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kendra I am a CPT & group fitness instructor. Bachelors in business. One month away from getting health coach certification. I have been a Pt since 2012. Figuring out this health and wellness and what works for me and others. I was born in mayaguez, Puerto Rico. This kid plays Padel and flew over to from KSA to @wpa to participate in the tournament held by @padelfip . The staff told me that he needed help as he was unable to play well due to a nagging groin pain. He pointed to the adductor magnus . I tested his hip, and he he had very poor femoral flexion (pain around 90 degrees), and femoral internal rotation. He also had very poor medial hamstring load tolerance . The posterior fibers of the adductor magnus can extend the hip and therefore is considered as the 4th hamstring, and when overworked can limit femoral flexion. . I started my rehab by doing some manual work to get the adductors to calm down. Followed by the 2 exercises shown in video. The first exercise will eccentrically lengthen the adductors, and dissociate the pelvis from the femur. The second exercise helps concentrate load across the medial hamstrings . 5ïžâƒŁ Things that helped stay on track in my Solo Fitness Journey
 1. Tracking your daily food intake. This will allow you to keep track of how many calories you’re consuming so in which every direction your journey goes you will be able to make accurate adjustments. 2. Record your daily fasted body weight. This paired with your food intake will assist you in making decisions on whether you should increase or decrease calories. Increase them when weight stalls to go up or decrease them as weight stalls to lose more weight. 3. Plan and cook your meals in advance. Doing this will prevent you from grabbing something quick, eating off track and will save you loads of time during the day. This also helps make sure your caloric intake remains the same throughout the week so you have accurate data to make adjustments. 4. Increasing your training intensity. You need to train hard enough to challenge your body and to stimulate growth. Your body won’t build muscle if it doesn’t have a reason too and by not putting those muscles under a proper load with a challenge, they will not adapt and change. 5. Increasing your daily energy expenditure. Just by going to a walk throughout the day will assist in losing weight, digestion and even support mood level. Simple and easy Sunday prep for the week.. “Homemade Salt n’ Pepper Chicken with Egg Fried Rice” đŸšđŸ„Ą We didn’t do a big shop so I used what we had in the house! When clients or people say “they don’t have time”, I cooked 4 meals around 45 minutes and I didn’t need to hover over the hob. This meal you could easily make 6 in total (but we ran out of chicken) 😂 Simple instructions đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸł - I diced chicken breast into cubes, seasoned it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, all-purpose seasoning, and parsley, then tossed in a bit of cornflour and soy sauce. After mixing it well, I transferred it to a pan to cook. - In a separate pan, I sprayed some oil and a little bit of sesame stir fry oil, then tossed in chunks of white onion, red bell peppers, (you can use green bell peppers but we only had 2 red ones in), spring onions, and red onion. I seasoned the vegetables with the same spices as the chicken, adding chilli flakes and a touch of ginger for extra flavour. - Once they were partly cooked, I stirred in 3 bags of steam egg fried rice (4 bags would be excessive) and continue to cook. Garnished with sesame seeds and parsley & bon appĂ©tit

What do I love about my job as a Personal Trainer? Well for a start I don't spend most of the time sat on my backside, number crunching and making money for someone who couldn't give a crap. I don't feel guilty for leaving work early to spend time with the kids, I don't have to work in a toxic environment, and I don't have to work ridiculous hours. That's just me being selfish, and no I won't apologise for that. I have the FREEDOM to do what I want for my business. Not bow to the rules of corporate nonsense. I can be ME. Every day I work with and meet, incredible people, and I love spending time with all of my clients, I can speak to them without putting on an act, or pretending to be someone I most definitely am not. I get to be the AWESOME guy that shares their knowledge and passion with people who are looking to invest in themselves and make changes, whether that's to be more mobile, to tone up, lose a little weight or simply spend time out of the house and not have to think about the day to day bullsh!t they've got to deal with. I've been someone to listen and a shoulder to cry on. I have inspired. Guided. Mentored. Encouraged. Motivated, and so much more. Helping people to discover their strengths, work on their fitness goals, and feel better about themselves both physically and mentally is an amazing feeling. It's rewarding for me and for my clients. Spice up your weekend with this Metabolic Balance compliant beef recipe! đŸœïž Beef and Brussels Sprouts Stir-Fry 👉 Here's what you'll need: Beef roast or loin (your protein portion) Brussels sprouts Spices: salt, garlic, black pepper, oregano, paprika, ground sumac berry, cayenne 1-2 Tbsp of Avocado Oil Instructions: Slice the beef roast into thin strips. Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat & add oil Add the beef strips to the pan and stir-fry until they start to brown. Add the Brussels sprouts and continue to stir-fry until they are tender but still have a bit of crunch. It's always nice to exercise outside with sunshine and cool air. So, I took one of my @ironmasterusa benches and attachments for basic calisthenics exercises + weight! I was doing volume training on my hex bar pickups the day before and still feeling those in my upper back. I had some leg day soreness carryover into the leg raises, too. Sunshine and shadows help pop the definition even when you're hardly tan, 😆!
