CORE It’s more than just abs. And it does more than just hold. Here are some moves to try adding into your routine to help strengthen it, they could be part of the warm up, cool-down or even as part of a main session. 1. Bar based - Hanging raises (knee, single leg, both legs) - you can also add holds at the top, or raise then hold for time - Knees to elbows (both or single) - Toes to bar (straight or rotate) 2. Kettlebell (dumbbells also possible) based - Side bends - Slow and smooth movement - Suitcase carry - Stay tall, resist the weight - Farmers & Offset carry - Front rack + Farmers or try an overhead variant - Front rack holds - Hold and breathe 3. Floor based - Hollow progressions (tuck, transition, full) - keep lower back in touch with the floor - Super(wo)mans (hands to side or in front) hold or raises - Squeeze your glutes Try traditional rep schemes, or time based training - such as 30 seconds work / 30 seconds rest If you find you can only do a couple of reps of a harder progression, you can try complexes - I.e do 1-3x leg raises straight into 4-10x knee raises. These allow you to build up the harder movement pattern while also building up some extra muscle work at the end #coretraining #strengthtraining #abs

TRAIN FOR CORE STABILITY! - the ability to resist certain movements such as extension, flexion, lateral flexion, and rotation. We are primarily talking about movements of the spine/rib cage in relation to the pelvis. To paint a clearer picture think about bending your spine in all sorts of directions without really moving your hips at all. Yeah, that is what we are trying to resist when we are talking core stability. We also like to think of core stability in terms of postural positions or postural stability. Our goal is to attain optimal postural alignments, mainly positions people are super weak in and never actually live in, and resist movement within this optimal alignment. It is important to be able to move through all ranges and planes of motion, but when talking about core stability we are talking about just that, stability. Most of the time i find that people don’t actually lack movement in planes of motion, but they actually significantly lack stability. CORE TRAINING - Some of our core movements from the @gbrsgroup Performance Program this week. . First is a Dumbbell Dig and Chop ripping a diagonal line and then hitting the breaks for an anti-rotational component from a half kneeling set up. . Second is a two up one down @trxtraining Row focusing on the anti-rotation component lowering yourself with one arm. . Standing Cable Rotations with focus on the eccentric portion of the rotation. . Fourth is a Heavy Goblet Squat which is a ton of stress on the core to hold a goblet position deep in the hole. . When this happens you’ll be forced to pull needless deadweight, and you’ll be more prone to swinging and will have a longer and less efficient path to the bar. 産前のお客様を担当する機会が何度もありましたが、自分がセッションで言ってきたことが実際どうだったのか?確かめる機会になりました。 私自身は産前プライベートを受けたり、メリシューのPre-natalの動画で一緒に毎日やっておりましたが、はたして 〜ピラティスは出産に役立ったのか?〜 結論、出産そのものについては 呼吸、スタミナ、身体や筋肉に対する感覚の鋭さは役に立つ! ピラティスしてなくて出産したことがないから比べられないのだが、おそらく産後の方がもっと役立ってる。(それは次回投稿するつもり) 有益っぽいことや意味不明なことetc感想を下記に羅列しておきます。 ●呼吸がちゃんとできることは大事。 産まれるまで胎児に酸素を送らねばならないので。助産師さんには息吐いて吐いてと言われる。吐かないと吸えないからですよね。 酸素送れないと胎児の心音が下がったりして、緊急帝王切開になりかねないから呼吸できててよかった。 ●産まないと終われないからギブアップとかは許されないので、体力ないときついと思うw ●産む時お腹は力入れるけど骨盤底筋は緩めないといけない(と勝手に思っている、知らんけどw) →だから骨盤底筋引き上げ・締めてばっかりではなく緩める感覚も必要 ●ピラティスに例えるとヒップロールズのお尻上げ始めを激しくした感じ。(は?) ハムストリングスは重要だった。ただし骨盤底筋は緩める。(は?) ●腹直筋離開は99%するらしい。自分は完璧にやられた!それで産む時腹筋使ったと思うんだけど腹直筋は使わなかったのかな? 知ってる人教えてください。 子宮そのものが筋肉で収縮するのと、他の周り色々が頑張ったのだろうと推測。 ●赤さんデカかったので会陰切開は免れなかった+裂傷(T . Ich bekomme öfter Nachrichten von Menschen, die mich fragen, wie ich das mit Stoma und Sport mache. Denn viele haben Angst davor. Angst, dass das Stoma verletzt wird, Angst vor Hernien (Brüchen), weil die Bauchdecke ja ein Loch hat und durch Operation(en) geschwächt ist, und nicht zuletzt, weil ihnen oft im Krankenhaus gesagt wird, dass sie nie wieder mehr als fünf Kilogramm heben dürfen. Nun ja, ich kann die Vorsicht verstehen. Vor allem nach der OP ist es schon wichtig, dass man abwartet, bis alles gut verheilt ist. Und auch danach ist es wichtig, die Core-Muskulatur, also Bauch und Rücken in der Körpermitte langsam wieder aufzubauen, damit der Bereich rund ums Stoma stabilisiert wird. Das habe ich damals mit einer Physiotherapeutin langsam gemacht. Denn schließlich könnte man ja nichtmal mehr einkaufen gehen, wenn man das mit den fünf Kilo zu ernst nimmt. Ich habe heute überhaupt keine Bedenken mehr beim Sport. Ich mache sogar Krafttraining. Und zwar ohne Bandage. Festsitzende Shapewear (nichts spezielles, nur schön eng) und darüber enge Leggings, und los gehts. Bei allen anderen Bewegungsarten (Walken, Yoga, Tennis, Schwimmen, Basketball) trage ich nur ganz normale Sportkleidung. Es gibt aber auch Gürtel und Bandagen speziell für Stomaträger:innen, die das Stoma und das Gewebe drum herum stabilisieren. Kannst du einfach mal ausprobieren. Hast du Sport-Erfahrungen mit Stoma?
