"Do this one move to burn belly fat", "Get jacked with this routine in 30 days", "Do this one trick to defend yourself". It's big business and big influencers selling you lies, so that you buy their stuff. But there is also some genuinely good stuff out there, aimed at educating and improving your life. It's important that this stuff gets shared, and that we remember there are good people out there. Sure, they might have something to sell too, but they're also happy if you get something out of what they give away for free. Another great upper back exercise for helping with posture and rounding shoulders is rows. You can do rows in lots of different ways, including with resistance bands. Think about your posture – shoulders back and down, ribs on top of hips, pelvis in neutral. I was losing the ability to play my sport or exercise without significant pain. And even daily activities like walking downstairs or standing up from sitting were becoming an issue. 1) Shoulder Strength and Stability are both important when treating a shoulder injury. The shoulder is a joint that has a lot of motion in a lot of different directions and any instability can cause pain and injury. It’s important to keep the small muscles that stabilize the joint strong. This is one of my favorite exercises for working on shoulder stability. It looks simple but it’s actually a lot harder than it looks! 2) The key to decreasing knee pain and preventing knee injuries is building hip strength, building quad strength, and working on single leg stability. Try this exercise to work on hip strengthening and stability! The hip and core support the lower extremities, so the stronger your hips and core, the less stress is placed on your knees, ankles, and feet. 3) Carpal tunnel syndrome commonly causes pain in your hand and wrist, numbness and tingling in your thumb and first two fingers, difficulty gripping, and more. It’s cause by inflammation in the carpal tunnel, which is the space between the wrist bones (carpals) and the flexor retinaculum. The inflammation causes pressure on the median nerve, which causes symptoms in the hand and fingers. Strengthening the muscles of the forearm can help reduce symptoms.
