The scale should be the LAST thing you’re worried about when making progress with your body composition… The scale can be really frustrating at moments 😫 The scale used to determine my mood everyday - and if I was making progress towards my goals. If I didn’t see it go down I would get angry at myself. Like I wasn’t working hard enough. It would determine if I had to “start over” every Monday And I know you feel the same as well too! 💓 I know for most people it’s not about the number on the scale - it’s about looking good and feeling good! What if I told you that you could improve your body composition without seeing the scale drastically go down 👀 My clients are proof of it! Most of them go through a process called body recomposition where they lose body fat but also gain muscle mass!! 💪🏼 So naturally the scale isn’t gonna drastically change much! but DAMN does their body composition’s look completely different 🤭👏🏼 Weight loss doesn’t always equal fat loss! You could lose weight on the scale but not really see the difference you’re wanting And weight gain doesn’t mean it’s “bad” And you can potentially weigh the same and have your body composition look completely different! When my clients see those fluctuations in the scale - it’s NORMAL Most likely it’s from stress, eating food that is out of the norm for them, water retention from traveling, eating later the night before, or going hard in their workout the previous day! NOT fat gain! The most important thing is that you’re taking progress photos on a weekly basis!! Also there’s so many other ways to see progress outside of what you’re body - like how you’re getting stronger, you feel more confident, clothes fitting better, improving your relationship with food, balancing life better, etc! Losing 140 pounds has been mentally and obviously physically challenging, but the journey has been incredibly rewarding. When I started this journey I didn't want to be "thin". La exposición lumínica, los alimentos , la temperatura y el ejercicio son factores que influyen en cada uno de los relojes internos. Cuando los ritmos circadianos se alteran, las funciones no se dan de la forma en que deberían, y esto implica un posible riesgo de generar una descronización interna que puede manifestarse como un simple síntoma ( insomnio, pérdida de foco/ memoria , atracones, migraña, indigestión, aumentos de azúcar en sangre, dolor muscular ) o cómo una enfermedad crónica cuando se perpetúa en el tiempo. CREAMY CHICKEN, BACON & MUSHROOM PASTA with garlic, onions, basil and fresh chillies 🌶️ Fried off all of the above apart from the basil until the chicken was thoroughly cooked through. Stirred through some Aldi lighter soft cheese (3 syns) and a dash of chicken stock before adding some cooked pasta. Added the fresh basil just before serving and finished it off with 30g of grana padano cheese which was my HexA choice and a garlic bread slice (4 syns).
